Looking at this video reminds me as a child. i was diagnosed with type one diabetes when I was 7 years old. I am now 35 soon to be 36. I just want to let the young kids know that as frustrating as it gets at times, and some struggling it takes, you can still live a fulfilling life. Just don't allow the disease to get the best of you. YOU CAN DO ANYTHING IN LIFE THAT YOU WANT! Just as if you were living a normal life. KEEP YOU HEADS HELD HIGH!

A2 milk is sold at the grocery stores here in Oz now, and I've been sticking with A2 milk and am off soy. Have you tried a product blogged on glutenfreesoyfree(dot)wordpress(dot)com/2011/09/13/possible-solution-gluten-intolerance/ for her T1 DM? celiac and t1 are related so may help.

I have a son who was diagnosed 2 years ago with juvenile type 1 diabetes.He is insulin dependent infact he injects 3 times a day and has 3 different insulins.It is a constant struggle and is very hard for him he was used to eating anything he wanted and now he has restrictions.However he is learning how to manage his diabetes.Nice video and thanks for sharing.

i have diabeties and hate it hate every minute of it. i first found out i was diabetic when at 11months old i went into a coma no one htought i would survive but i did my mum says she can always see the diffrence in me and so can i we dont really have any pictures of me when i didnt have it its too much. and 2 years ago i gave up completly when my dad left us im back on track now and trying to stay strong but its hard. christmas is probably my happiest time of year.

I am always going to hope for the cure long after i am gone and so will my children and their children and their children.I am 11 and Im always going to fight this harder each day.

well the 4 pricks a day is wats perfered but yeah you can take as many shots as 10 times a day or at least for me and while its not to terrifying i agree its a daily battle and i hate it sometimes good work on this vid
I am 10 now and I got diagnosed with type 1 when I was 6. I think that my guardian angel gave up on me that wretched day I was in the hospital scared out of my mind, cuddling my teddy, when they told me I had the disease. Right now, I am a little girl in a scary world trying to stay alive for God sakes. My parents tell me I am special and God chose me to have diabetes, so I could have a interesting life. All of us diabetes kids must stay strong.
My friends at school who have diabetes type 1 and 2, the priciple called us to his office and we went to the hospital right away when our parents were called. We went because there were 20 little 2 and 3 year olds that almost had no hope. A nurse talked to us and said that we were to raise and send money to JDRF we raised $268.52 and we felt proud, we each got a certificate stating that every penny got us closer to the cure!
