The whole thing is clever but two parts took me off guard and made me laugh like a crazy person: the "Mama!" with the space creature from Galaxy's Child hanging on the Enterprise and at the very end "anyone can see" with Geordi fumbling for his visor. I almost died.
That's absolutely amazing, fantastic, and other words that should be invented to describe this! How there was a scene in TNG for every line of the song is incredible. And how can 16 people dislike this???? 5* from me, well done!
Thanks for the comments guys, and thanks to mapper1701 for uploading it on youtube. To answer the questions about Spock not being in the video, the series was still inproduction when we made the video and the latter episodes weren't available to us.
This was edited by me and my friend Sandra back in 1994 using VHS machines and a CD Player. We first presented in Glasgow at a Contagion, the guest was Michael Dorn. Easy to knock out in this digital age but this represents 44 hours work
I saw a slightly better quality version of this video years ago here with some more sound effects added; any idea if that one's still around anywhere?
THANK YOU!! I've been looking for this video forever! Like so many others I saw it at a (US) ST convention about 12 years ago and have never forgotten it!!
ya know, I first saw this music video at a convention, like many people. This was the first time I had seen anything like that, putting clips of a show to a song I liked, brilliant! This was long before the deluge of AMV's and other music videos made by fans.
ST:TNG had such a lasting impression on those of us who grew up with that show as our main trek, the video still gives me a good feeling when I watch it.
Oucg...poor Geordi at 5:15 ... "Anyone can see"... that was evil ^^
This is without doubt an awesome vid for just using TNG clips. However, I like the version better with clips from all four series then. It's called "Star Trek: Bohemian Rhapsody" and has been uploaded by m185874. Anyway, my respect to anyone who knows every episode so well that he finds just the perfect clips to any line!
Wow...this is possibly the best music video set to this song that I have seen, along with one of the Simpsons. The clips matched the lyrics PERFECTLY. And is it just me, or is that scene of old Scotty standing on the hologram of the old Enterprise one of the saddest things you've ever seen?
Superb! Very, very cool! I love Star Trek TNG, and I love that song, so this would've been fun to watch anyways, but you did a fantastic job editing the clips to match the song! I love it!!!!
Thanks so much for posting this! I saw this video at a convention when I was in high school and have been looking for it (off and on) for quite a while now. It's still just as much fun to watch now as it was then.
What a ridiculous comment. Maybe if you had a sense of humor, you'd understand the reasoning behind making this. I for one think it's great, regardless of the "ridiculous effort" behind it. Does it need to have a reason to exist?
Obviously Chuck1701 has a reason to exist...we could ponder that or watch this excellent video that needs no reason. Thanks for uploading, it's really enjoyable.
This is awesome! It's been a long time. I saw this one at a con too, I think it was in '98 or '99. I remember Nichelle Nichols and Marina Sirtis were there. They played it twice since the audience loved it so much. It's so great to see it again.
Okay, that was just about the best thing I've ever seen!!! Nice job putting it all together! I cracked up all over the place. Easy come, easy go was my favorite!! Thanks for sharing!!
That was seriously one of the best TNG vids I've seen. Just.. wow. Whoever made this deserves the major kudos, though. Hopefully they will be passed onto them. :-)
Absolutely brilliant! To me, the most important thing about a music video is that the images match up with what the lyrics are saying. I've never seen one that does it THIS well before!
Utter brilliance! "Do you think you can stop me and spit in my eye" coupled with that clip from Genesis is possibly my favourite bit. That or Picard in the lift with the crying kids "just gotta get right outta here!". Lol!
Oved it, but seeing as how Scotty and McCoy were in there towards the end, the shot of Spock mind-melding with Picard and crying would have been a beautiful addition. Nonetheless, great work!
The sad part is that I recognize every part they show and remember each individual episode. xD They didn't actually have EVERY episode...only the ones from Season 1-5 I believe.
Wonderful, absolutely wonderful!! I love this song and show. I love it!! :)

I'm pretty sure the clip of O'Brien beaming out wasn't from TNG, but it took place on the Enterprise, so it technically counts :)
