This judge has had meny cases reversed because she did not follow the law.(IE she did not do her job, she made the rules up as she went!) So ya it is a big deal!!!!!!!!
She's had 3 cases overturned in a decade on the appeals court, out of 5 cases the SC has decided. Typically the SC overturns 65-75% of appellate decisions. Out of the hundreds of opinions she's written, she's overturned less than 1% of the time.
And merely being overturned does not make one a bad judge. Alito and Scalia, before they were appointed, were overturned on 100% of the appeals from their decisions heard by the SC.
I have read from several sources that when she was over turned it was because of a no brainer misuse of the law. IE--She chose to do the wrong thing. Maybe she applyed sympathy or her life experience and not the law. Kind of why she was chosen. Obama wanted a judge was might invent law from the bench!
You didn't hear that from anywhere credible, I can tell you that. Her cases where she's been overturned have been subtle differences, complicated matters of jurisdiction, whether or not a private entity can be sued for civil rights violations when working on behalf of the government.
I'd be interested to see what your "several" sources are, because I've read the cases where she's been overturned, and they're pretty far from "no brainer misuses" of law.

This judge has had meny cases reversed because she did not follow the law.(IE she did not do her job, she made the rules up as she went!) So ya it is a big deal!!!!!!!!

She's had 3 cases overturned in a decade on the appeals court, out of 5 cases the SC has decided. Typically the SC overturns 65-75% of appellate decisions. Out of the hundreds of opinions she's written, she's overturned less than 1% of the time.
And merely being overturned does not make one a bad judge. Alito and Scalia, before they were appointed, were overturned on 100% of the appeals from their decisions heard by the SC.

You didn't hear that from anywhere credible, I can tell you that. Her cases where she's been overturned have been subtle differences, complicated matters of jurisdiction, whether or not a private entity can be sued for civil rights violations when working on behalf of the government.
I'd be interested to see what your "several" sources are, because I've read the cases where she's been overturned, and they're pretty far from "no brainer misuses" of law.

i dont have self loathing, just logic. 75% of the country lives in large cities. those cities are diverse and the suburbs are not a very accurate picture of the diversity in this country. i live on long island, out west its all nice and white and christian, but drive 1 hour east and everybody is either asian or hispanic. and yet, there are still plenty of people who think america is made up solely of those white suburbs.

No, I want a judge to sit there, shut up and do their job - without regard to whether someone is rich or poor, white or black, educated or idiot. The job of the judge is NOT to apply empathy, it is to apply equality when it comes to the law. This is a radical with an obvious agenda - and she does not belong on the U.S. supreme court.
