This video just made me realize how truly fortunate I am to have hearing - to be able to hear music.

I thought this was well done for people who are just learning ASL. "ASL Gloss" is when you sign using ASL Grammar, for example, Topic/Comment, Yes/No Question, WH-Questions. Much like English,it has it's own grammar. I saw them signing more in exact English. I think they did a very good peformance. I agree on using more expressions/body language. Emotion is key in making it fantastic.

Can someone tell me what "glossing" and "pse" is? I'm just learning ASL and I'm not sure what those terms mean. I thought the the video was cute, but the emotion wasn't all there, and I agree the ending could have been a little better. Overall not bad.

@MekJar0709 Glossing is writing sign language down and is written in all caps. PSE is Pidgeon Signed English. It's a mesh of ASL and English signing.

The glossing was very good, but I have a hard time getting into it, I felt like there wasn't enough emotion in the signs or in their faces.

@justforasl ASL word order is SOV, Subject, Object, Verb. In English we would say "I drive the car." but in ASL you say "CAR ME DRIVE."

WOW! I have never seen a guy sign this well before! He has facial expression most of the time and his signs are big and appropriate for on stage performance! Awesome job!

lol, he does a pretty good job. Normally, he isn't as expressive. Our teacher would only let us perform if we had facial expressions and signed big. :D
