there"s no demonstration of progressive speed of the flange. from vintage mellow flying sounds to overdriven chorus or fuzz many things. a box that doesn't fly to high frequencies. never used the EVH sorry
i miss this effects pedal. i bought this out of a pawn shop for about 30.00 in the late 80's. man it could make alot of different sounds. i should have kept it.
Can this pedal go from flange to chorus to vibrato to short delay like the web says. Personally haven't seen any videos demo these abilities? Though I could be wrong. Over all this demo was worth it
Yes. Almost any flange that has control over rate, width, and speed can. Having used multiple types of flangers I can attest to this regarldess of make and model, however a flanger with less controls will not be able to (of course) I can attest to this as well.
Is the Re-issue the same as this, or did they use better parts when they first built this pedal? I know everything is built to a price-point, and that maybe MXR's going on the cheap side for the re-issues, so just wanted to know. Thanks.
This is how DEMO's should be made! To show what the product sounds like and not show off chops, etc. Well Done! : )

I still have my Original MXR Flanger...I use it with my Bass to do the sounds that DJs do with their computers--but sounding SOOOOOO MUCH Fatter!
