Really wish they would show the rally trucks here in the U.S. when covering Dakar. Also wish we could get flag to flag coverage as well. That's something I miss from when I was stationed overseas.

look at the things, what do you think:P

a huge amount of work is put in to these trucks. only the cabs are sort of standard. although regulations have made them a bit more conventional in the last years. but if you look at the daf turbotwin for instance: alu chassis, engine tuned to it's limits (the first one even had 2 engines) the thing was faster than most cars competing that year

The first few trucks are just there to race. The ones further down the field are assitance trucks for the bikes or cars in there team. There are 3 people in each truck.
