@LollipopBombs Lol when I was editing to get just this song I didn't realize that part was originally there, but I didn't edit it out because it was funny xD
what the heck? if a freakin sea monster who breathes fire attacks you all your going to do is whistle!!! thats freakin idiotic! the original movie is wayyyyyy better!!!!!
@erocksursocks Maybe they were trying to troll the sea monster? :D
Or teach it perfect pitch? The sea dragon itself was an illusion, so I don't think it would have hurt them, especially since the bad guy said he was only trying to scare them, but yeah I agree whistling to a monster will probably not work out in that person's favor xD
This is also from the time period when movies, songs and plays were all about becoming a good person. For example Disney had many songs where children would learn that teamwork is best, fears can be conquered, true love can be found, etc. I think personally, it's a good message to be sung to the world that you are just as strong as you (make)believe you are ;)
@ThePacificSam well, for most the scene would seem pointless, but usually in many form of arts, including musicals, water represents a crossing between world. This might have been intended as a symbol representing Anna and her son's departure from England and the world that they know and the beginning of their journey to the "unknown world". The storm most probably is a representation of their fear while the song itself is a form of finding the courage to keep going down this one uncertain road.
@ThePacificSam Lol yeah I think it's odd too, I think the whole evil illusion guy is odd all together too xD But it is an animated movie that while not Disney style has a Disney-esque feel to it at times. Not saying I didn't like the movie or I think it's ripping off Disney though. But I guess they needed a villain.
@ThePacificSam Didn't in the original movie/musical, it begin with them getting on a ship? Not totally sure it's been so long since I've seen the movie. I do know that the song was originally sung because the son was afraid of the guards, and there was no bad guy with illusion powers.

@Terra89 yes this whole sequece here is pointless with the dragon and snakes..and quite obviously, the kralahome was based off of Jafar from Aladdin

@Scar2401 Really? I never knew that myself. But then again when it came to Jafar I always ignored him in favor of Iago xD
