  • My boy just recently lost his eye and is doing remarkably well. He's a 12 year old off-track thoroughbred that is just starting to jump again, he only lost his eye in August. For anyone who thinks of putting their horse down because of the lost of an eye should see what Norman can do now.

  • I saw a horse with one eye at the fair last year truely amazing

  • Cheers, He was a one eyed horse at our farm. Like any, his trust was hard to get......sadly he was sent back to his original farm. I had his trust, but sadly....yeah.

  • We've got a one eyed horse at our barn and he's the perfect lesson horse. The only problem he has is in the round pen when he's going with his missing eye to the outside.

you should study evolution of horses

they were going extinct before man became involved, and in turned our society evolved...

We have wild horses now, but they are because of previous care and still those herds have to be looked after by specialists.

We needed them they need us.

  • laddie you was the best horse at college. i mucked you out a couple of time and you was funny

  • Horse are perfectly capable of sustaining themselves without human intervention..eg..mustangs....lets not get to arrogant as to say they "need" us.... Great project idea.

  • O trabalho de Tim Flach é "explêndido"... Maravilhoso... Particularmente o Projeto Equus e as fotografias dos morcegos... Divino.

  • o wow a one eyed horse. I showed agains and totaly blind horse!

  • holy cow cant that horse feel the pain of not having two eyes???

  • It's much of the same way a human being goes along with just one eye. It's not painful at all. They adapt.
