Anybody know why he went to such a small college. Think he would want to go to a bigger conference and be up against a little tougher competition and get the College World Series Spot Light.
If he went to a division 1 school he wouldn't have been eligible for the draft this year and honestly spending three years in college would be a waste of time for this kid.
@Perfectgame8 - - O.K so it took me 3 weeks to get a real answer, thank you, I didn't know about that rule... I knew it applied for basketball, but I thought you could leave in college at any time.
@RandyKelly19 Dont forget this isnt weak competition either many of these juco kids in his league are well on theor way to the pros it is a very high level and all wooden bat
I heard conversation on ny sports talk radio station with a guy who has followed through pretty much all of his high school and junior college career. He was saying that Bryce hasn't had any major slumps in his play. and that it will be interesting to see how he handles himself when he does slump for any period of time. I'm a huge met fan and jealous all hell of the nationals they got this phenom pitcher in strausberg and they have 1st pick in this years draft? You know they're draft this kid.
@TheDJ596 He looked like he was just swinging for the fence and dropping his shoulder some and getting under a bunch of them, but with this kid and his bat speed, God only knows. Those he gets under may be a pop out to mid-right field for a lot of hitters, but i wouldn't be surprised if some of them might have cleared the fence, lol...
dude anything can happen he might get hurt really bad and might not be able to play baseball again yes he is a great player but you cant say he is going to HoF till the election comes...
O he'll find his way to the bigs someday. But just because you have more than enough talent and size now doesn't mean you'll have more than enough or enough in the majors.
yes the fact everyone says he did bad at the aflac thing is because he isn't used to a kid that knows what he is doing pitching as harper does when he hits he will drop bombs you jsust wait
Ya Rzraxe he did strike out every time in the All-American game but who are you to be saying that. I am guessing that you know nothing about the game or don't play. And if you do play u are God awful. So nice try on the comment but next time say something with intelligence
your point? every player has bad days, baseball is a game of failure, and all those players in the all american game has great baseball futures ahead of them.
Aside from the loop at the top and lunge with his lower body, you can see how quick his hands and wrists are and how smooth and easy he's able to generate the bat speed.
If he learns to stay back a bit to keep from getting killed by change ups and eliminates the loop and turns it into a better load to keep from getting busted inside with fastballs, he could be special.
dude, so your saying he hasnt seen real pitching... yeah hes in a horrible slump right now but everyone has them. but he has something not many people do, he can throw 96 from the mound, can throw down from his knees as catcher, and has a bat speed of 114 mph. average for people at my school his age is 60-80.
I don't think anyone is questioning the fact that he could be really, really special.
But lets not forget that he's just a kid, and for all the bat speed and HR derby bombs, a lot of things can happen between now and whenever it is he gets a shot in the big leagues.
to bad this isnt a college of southern nevada video its of him takin bp before an aflac game

True, but you have to admit this kid has talent. It'd be more of a shock if he DOESN'T make some kind of impact in pro ball.

you obviously know nothing about baseball
when u hit a 570 foot homerun and break the record for farthest hit ball at tropicana field........then come talk about whats wrong with his swing
bryce has 114 mph batspeed
