  • Great Video... The music certainly compliment the Video Very Well... What to say of the cars on that little town...

Sad to see so many Terror Movies based on Route 66 Motels, when they can basically take advantage of it in another ways!

  • @DriveAroundUSA ~ From 1959, continuous, thru 1967, my parents & I made an annual pilgrimage from SoCal to S.E. Indiana to see my dad's relatives and each year we drove Route 66 from L.A. to St. Louis (and would then turn east). I have just wonderful memories. Then, as an adult, my wife & I drove across the country in '88, '89, '91, '92 and 1996 in search of what remains of the original "66." Such woulderful memories, especially of those trips with my parents when "66" WAS the Mother Road.

  • This, I suspect, is the longest stretch of the original Route 66 left. It runs from Kingman (heading east) thru Peach Springs and ends up back on I-40 at Seligman. If I'm correct, I've made the drive myself (back in the late 80's). There are now historic Route 66 groups in every state that was originally part of The National Trails Highway (CA, AZ, NM, TX, OK, MO and IL.). Another good stretch (75) miles runs from Ludlow, Ca. to Essex, Ca. If your ever driving east on I-40 out of Barstow...

  • I've driven from Chicago to LA in 1999!

  • i love this video i live in england and its so good to see small towns like this in america. america rocks!
