well main reason general grievous lost was sword style clashing.

his chest being crushed wouldn't effect his fighting ability..since he has machine parts...

it was the fact that grievous' tricks were all known by then, he didn't mount a surprise attack, and obi-wan fights in a defensive oppertunistic style so it doesnt matter that grievous had 4 or 1 lightsaber..thats the same reason obi survived order 66. amazing defense agaisnt numbers.
