You are a talented cinematographer. Have you seen any of Kieslowski's films? I think "A Short Film About Killing," and "A Short Film About Love," would appeal to you. The movies he did with Piesiewicz are pure art. Boring, but amazing camera work. "Blue," "White," and "Red," as well as "The Decalogue," should all be of interest to someone who appreciates film as much as you seem to. But story-wise, they are pretty dull.
