This was recorded no more than a year ago. It's Umid Hussain Nejad. Jawad Farooghi was another very good reciter who is probably at least 30 years old now. He stopped reciting professionally around 20 because he decided to devote his time to the study of Islam.

who are the people that are making a contest out of quran recitation by sticking 10 year old to recite? it seems to be getting more common. Obviously the point of this was to express "look what the kid can do" The crowd wasnt awing at the meaning, they were awing at the him. Anyone who is impressed by this is among the losers.

Hello brothers. I want to tell you that this boy i NOT Mohammad Jawad Foroghi, I am an iranian and know both of them very well, this boy is Omid Hossein Nejad, He won many times in iran and I think for 2 years ago he won as the best in iran, this clip is of him in pakistan. By the way mohammah javad foroghi was very famous in his time but it was long time ago, he is a about 30 years old now. You can find some of his recitation in youtube.
