  • I would know who was his hairdresser

  • this was more like euro dance while mj was just flaky. tone loc was raunchy trash. too bad this was not heard at the time. it is so much better than what MJ and tone loc had out at the same time.

  • this has a great euro-dance sound. i would have guessed it was out in 1983 not 1988 though. i have no memory of hearing this. did they blacklist him from airplay because he was gay or because this was too much of a euro-dance sound or both? i would have liked this is i heard it but video has too many crotch shots that probably hurt its promotion.

  • Fukk u haters

  • Jermaine have haters and folk that loved him. Hey thats the way the world turns...

  • jermaine u ROCKZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz

  • Yeah this dude was a total MJ Rip off...

  • everytime I hear this beat and bass line, it reminds me of "Pump Up The Volume", I even catch myself in reciting some of the MARRS samples ^^

  • ohboy

  • nice

  • and I'll say one thing about Jermaine, that boy grabbed me from a fight at a club in

Amsterdamn, and it's a good thing he did to, because the guy stabbed me, and I was to drunk to realize how serious the situation had gotten.

Jermaine grabbed me, and me his dancer and an dutch male hustler went partying and we had a time...

but he was the sweetest person, maybe too sweet ?

  • HE'S GOT THE STYLE OF MICHAEL JACKSON

  • MJ was a great example for many artists and he always be. Only Michael will always be the greatest!

  • he used to be a dancer with mj and toured with him for a while then broke out on his own

  • no mike had OUR style,if Mike was here today he'd tell u that we all of us gay black artist from that time, Keith Barrow, DeBarge, Sylvestor was the extreme. We all danced the same and all had that greasy Jeri curl crap in our hair, Mike got lucky and you know what he's dead now, so it's all done and said.

b 4 Mike was weird he used to hang out at a gay club in Chicago, a lot of ppl my age knew Mike Jackson.

thats all I''m going to say, unless I decide to write a book.

  • @urbanvibecanada glad you said that that, its true.........love to you

  • @Jacksonfuly thats the same thing i was thinkin .... guess i aint the only one

  • @Jacksonfuly and michael jackson danced like James brown...whats your point...most artists borrow from other artists...nothing wrong with that!! its still a great song though!!

  • 1:56 he looks so so happy

  • hell r.i.p jermaine didnt know he,d passed away until i watched his video will be missed x

  • brill song, he had a really good voice

  • Why do all the good artist have to die? I'd have liked to hear more awesome music from Jermaine but it seemed god needed his music in heaven.

  • gotta find a cure hiv rip

  • music sounds very good.

the 2 songs i've heard from this album have both sounded good and both songs are a billion times better than what jacko had out in 1987/88.

  • Yeah I see a lot Gary Oldmans Dracula going on in that hair :)

  • ONE OF MY MOST LOVED ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE ALL OF HIS SONGS!

I DIDN'T KNOW THAT JERMAINE IS GONE

    RIP MY BELOVED ARTIST JERMAINE

    miss Nina

  • why that look like the boy from 'moesha'? and this vid looks alot like 'the way you make me feel' by michael.

  • Really great, <3 80ies music and feeling ... RIP Jermaine :(

  • About time that musicians start to make tunes like that. respect & love Jermaine

  • hmm so this is where the leadsinger from the noisettes possibly got the inspiration for her hair do.

  • This one was one of the first videos I saw, because western satellite channels were allowed to broadcast in public only from the end of 87 in Hungary before falling of the old system itself. Good memories from bad old days....

  • According to the statistics, this video is most popular in: Hungary. I like it but it is surprising.

  • should have done better in the charts .nice tune.

  • this video is so sprinkliy sissy-like lol but besides dat i like the dances specially in the time of 0:37-0:46

  • Looking at music videos from the late 80's now, I am amazed on how much Michael I see in the moves and style... He was a much bigger inspiration than we can ever comprehend...

    rip Michael

    rip Jermaine

  • I totally forgot about this video.. bring back good memories :)

  • loving this clip

  • This song brings me back to a lot of good times back in the 80's. Thanks for the clip!

  • tum ta tum tum

  • i bet he sings better than you

    and looks better

    take a chill pill

whats the problem with brilll jermaine.

  • Closet queens I love them. All that anger is a sign of your true nature. You aint no bad man, just an angry little boy probably surrounded by people who would not accept who you really want to be.

Here is a suggestion. Move and COME OUT OF THE CLOSET!!!

  • omg, everyone is insulting cuff1957, its funny

  • Cuff1957, it's a shame your entire country got a bad cock up it's shitter when you tried to take on a group of peasant farmers in Vietnam and lost. I bet your daddy couldn't wait for shore leave so he could get him some 10 year old poontang.

    Silly yank cunt.

  • good performer,to bad he got a bad cock up his shitter.

  • Cuff1957,

Are you one of those badly educated people, thats had a shit life, no friends, no money, you sound very bitter! im surre you must get a good kick out of what you do on youtube, but basically you are a sad little crank, come out the closet and admit you are gay also, dont try to beat it, just join us, even some gays, are illiterate, uncool, live a sad empty life, just like you!!!

  • jermaine used to say hey man its just skin and viens, whats the big deal.

  • Cuff1957

Is that the year you were born or the last time you said anything interesting? Me and my gay and straight friends loving inviting poor peasants like you to our parties, its so much fun to take the piss out of you, but i think with what you write, it wouldnt be much fun as you probably wouldnt realise it!!!

Now go wash your shell suit and your dirty greasy hair, you are minging! you poor dirty peasant :-D

  • both

  • GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYY

  • well, duh. I guess the sun's bright, too, huh?

  • is that suppose to be an insult?

  • damn, this song was played in the all of the clubs in berlin, germany in 1988. wow. i loved to dance to this. great times

  • This is a great song, reminds me of getting ready for nights out in summer, ironing chinos and drinking cheap white wine "Concorde" :-D

  • then your a gayboy to.

  • And you are a sad wanker, you cant even spell !! go play on the motorway, you peasant!!

  • go fuck your blind aunt you wanker.

  • Cuff 1957: What kind of a daft cunt are you? I really don't understand why people like you feel it neccesary to make nasty comments about people like this. Is it because you are inadequate or inarticulate or were bullied at school maybe? I notice that you appear to be an American. No doubt you come from 'God fearing' stock where your mum is also your sister and that you have 'longtime' with the pigs down on the farm so what other people do in bed should be the leat of your worries.

  • that is an exotic hair style

  • Great song. Wackiest hair-do i ever saw, it was crazy even for the 80's.

  • I would tap THAT! Jermaine Stewart was HOT!

Jermaine Stewart, you are missed and loved

  • Bought the 7" single of this - haven't heard it in years. Great tune.

  • wonderful song!!

  • I only wish I was this cool.

  • leather + pompadour + a little sugar in the hips + drum machine and mic = you could give it the ol' college try. (^_O)

  • I'm going to have to find Doc Brown and the time machine so I can go back to the 80's. That kind of coolness just don't fly these days. Plus I would be lucky if I made it down the street without getting my ass kicked looking like that. Only in my dreams.........

  • He stole that hair style from the lead singer of Flock of Seagulls.

  • fabulous to hear and see this classic again!!

  • wow didnt that little boy played in moesha? that was brandy's little brother on the show lol wow

  • you mean on Thea

  • this song is far superior to say it again - yet it only reached number 13! god knows why say it again got into the top 5 because its mediocre by 80's standards.

  • Wonderful song. Heard it on the radio, and it made my day. Still standing tall!!

  • Oh I LOVED this vid! Iremember going to high school after this came out with my hair like this and I got so many stares. This is very PWL sounding. Did the boys produce it??

  • Phil Harding remixed this one.

  • que de souvenirs!!!!!!!

  • This Version is so much better than the LP Version! I`m searching for a Best of CD from him, but i don`t find it!

  • I am sorry he died he is hot thought.. get lucky yall.. just like the word is out.. even before you say it..

  • A really catchy tune from JS - I played the 12inch I have of this to death! I have looked everywhere 4 the video,so thanks very much for the upload mark. A great 80's track that I will always be a fan of. JS you are missed - RIP.

  • Sounds like 'Sonic The Hedgehogs' theme tune to 'Spring Yard Zone' lmao!

  • js.a very underated singer songwriter.rip.

  • billiger MG-Imitat mit dicken eiern und zitterstimme.

  • who is mg?

  • Sorry my fault. I mean "MJ" for Michael Jackson.

  • Wait a second. . . Was Jermaine Stewart the creator of the "Mini-Me"?!!

  • And yet nobody understood his genius at the ttime.

  • I get the yanki GI sniper vibe here.

  • cool song!

  • Gonna get lucky. Not in this lifetime. I sure enjoyed his videos. I don't think I ever saw him when he was a regular on Soul Train. He wore some really kickin' wardrobe.

  • LOL I guess this is the oppisted of , we dont have to take are close off to have a good time .

  • so what if he was gay, we can all make our own choices, you wouldn't search the song if you didn't like it.

  • Wow....this brought back some great memories!!!

  • Ich kann mich noch gut an diesen Song erinnern. In Deutschland war Jermaine ein relativ grosser Star... Hatte mehr als nur einen Hit... Cool, ihn wieder zu sehen!

  • I've got this track on cassette.

  • I liked the dance moves/style when Michael Jackson had it first.

  • Was he infected with HIV when he turned in this video?

  • I'm sorry I got to ask was he homosexual or die conctract another way? We can't always assume that someone was gay,now that we know more about the HIV virus.

  • yo you stupid ass motha fucka shut the fuck up...dont be puttin stupid ass comments up understand...dumn ass cunt

  • Is that little boy the brother from Moesha?

  • No...that little boy would be too young to have been in this video.

  • you dont have to be gay to get aids twat

  • yes but get real...honestly, why not accept.

everytime you speak the way you do you put us all down!! maybe he was gay/maybe he wasn't...but if he was BIG DEAL!!

  • he was...and died of aids

  • Love this one.

    Great Dance Song.

    Cool!

  • I am now a fan of anything by the late and great Jermaine Stewart.

  • A Michael Jackson wannabe

even the VIDEO is a knock off of

    " BEAT IT "

    Jermaine Stewar tRIP

  • SORRY!!! this was before Michael... so who's the wannabe?

  • Do your math Beat came out in 1984

  • your right ... thanks !

    but I agree with Lewisner!!!

  • Thank goodness I looked in Wikipedia about this guy! And found out about this song!! OMG!! Love it!!! Playing it right now. And I can see how Europe took to this song! Big time!

  • This production sounds sooooo Euro! And I love it! Actually I think that it was a SAW production but not producuced by the directly. I believe it was Phil Harding. This songs also sounds similar to the album track of "Slipping Away" by Rick Astley (a Phil Harding production).

  • He sang back up for culture club on there album(Color by numbers)And the great miss Helen Terry also sang back up!Boy George pulled strings and got Jermaine and Terry Recording contracts.Jermaine was a victim of the early aids epidemic,And Helen now produces documentary films for BBC.

  • great song, but whats with the hair? lol
