Rod Kinkade is the winder/owner of ScatterBranes, and there is no controversy with him. Rod is a straight up good guy and good business man. You might me confusing him with Will Boggs. WB Pickups, now there is a major controversy! That guy is super bad news and stay far away from him. hope this helps
@bushkey I read a thread in one of the LP blogs that said he replicated a G0 & was trying to sell it as if it were real. Could not find the listing on Ebay to verify so it could be complete BS.
Smooth and with much feeling..Great tone..Nice board & string touch. I had to listen twice. 2:11 was a bitch huh?..:) What was the Verb set to? Have you mentioned your string preference? When you change your pups is it simply a matter of using a solder gun or are there other required steps involved?
Reverb was set to around 9-10 if I remember correctly.
Strings are 9-42 on my les paul. 10-52 on my telecaster. Its pretty easy to put in pickups but I have a bit of experience soldering. Its basically desolder and then solder.
yea i agree with you.i commented another video of yours earlier.i love your playing and style.i also play a 91 standard les paul and classic 30 which are amazing together.i was wondering if you are on any guitars forums?
There has been some controversy surrounding Todd the maker of skatterbrains pickups. Does anyone know the actual story?

Sounds killer! Do you have the stock caps and pots in your LP or did you swap those out to?

On a side note I would say that the neck feels actually clearer than the Dr V neck despite it being more agressive.

are you going to keep this oor put the dr.vs back in?these sound nice its hard to choose which i like more
memphislocal87 4 years ago
I'll keep these. They are similar to the Dr V's in a way but more agressive and not as weak sounding, which is the only real downside to the V's.
