  • hey where did your get your rims i like the black looks good on that truck

  • does your antenna hit everything you drive under? my does especially under the mcdonalds drive through

  • What lockers are you running?

  • Yes you can weld your spider gears....i had my gears welded in my cherokee. Remember though, on pavement and around corners your going to be chirpping the tires....good luck

  • @cajunextreme i always wondered how bad is that when you're locked and you're chirping on pavement, i've never had it done but wondered if i bought a 99 f-150 if it'd put two much stress on it and eventually blow the diff apart?

  • in my racecar we just weld the spider gears together instead of buying lockers, you can trust it more too... would it be alright to do that in offroading?? just wondering

  • nice truck man

  • What CB are you running? saw the whip on the back.

Nice truck man, ford for life!

  • Its a Galaxy DX66V. with a Texas star linear amplifier. Thus the reason i run a 102" whip. Kicks ass at the drive thru when i key up.

  • nice truck man...i have a 98 too but single cab and a little lift and i want a rear locker but they a bit pricey...

  • I did gears and lockers. $1800 for front and rear 4.11 gears, rear detroit locker, synthetic fluids replaced. I wouldnt lock it without a gear change.Waste of money. good luck

  • hey man asome truck i have the same truck, clour every thing 4.6 with the 5 speed what kinda rims are on it looks good

  • Unique beadlocks 16x10" with 4" backspace...no rubbing with atleast 4" lift and valance trim....if you need pics of the lift and install..let me know

  • haha the dogs gotta love it.

  • they go with me in the truck and the jeep

  • hey man what do lockers do?

  • Lockers send equal power to both tires.....no one wheel wonder..also eliminates having to be in 4 wheel drive in alot of situations that you only need a little more traction from the rear tires....PROS: great offroad traction CONS: pricey and they can be a bit hairy driving on ice or wet roads with a heavy foot

  • niiiice truck man, i have a 2000 F-150 7700 xlt supercab 4x4, whats weird is that when im in two wheel drive my rear tires are always locked up, but as soon as i put her in 4 they are not locking up, how much were your lockers? do u have em in the front to?

  • Your locked because of the torque and gear ratio change when your in 4hi or low.

I have lockers in the front and rear.Detroit in the front and rear. Front taxle is not strong enough for a locker..i did it anyway and just dont lead foot her to much..Your rear axle has clutch packs in it..make sure you us good gear oil and put the additive in it to keep your rear in good shape.

  • are those pro comp series 51 rims? and what kind of tires do u have? and with ur backspacing do ur tires stick out? i have 16x10's with 4 inch backspacing, they're getting put on next week

  • 16x10 Unique imitation Beadlocks 4.5" backspace

yes they stick out about 1"....Stable as hell...I luv them....Aired them down to 6 psi one time and didnt blow them off the bead. What size lift and tires do you have...

  • I have pro comp series 51 rock crawler rims. 16x10 with 4" backspacing, so mine will prolly stick out a little farther than yours. I'm runnin 315/75/16 dick cepek fc-II tires. 3 inch body lift right now, thinking about either a leveling kit or a 4inch suspension lift. Not sure yet, and do you have any idea of how much one wheel and tire with air weighs? mine are pushin 80 pounds

  • also, where did you get your lockers? And what rear gear ratio are you running? I have 3.73's not sure if I want to swap to 4.10's or not.

  • i would go with the 4" lift...leveling kit will not stop the rubbing...I got my lockers from cascade offroad...also had 4.10s installed...in 2wheel drive with the tires fully aired up i can drive her up rocks and slopes of about 75 degrees without slipping...shed climb a mountain in 4low and aired down..i have some pretty killer pics if your interested

  • Nice mine can do that stock also

  • Thats a 5 foot 90 degree slate rock..any time you would like to come on up to washington state and follow me up some of these hills in two wheel drive, i accept the challenge..id love to see you smoke your one wheel wonder up these rocks.

  • Cool truck I have the same year what size lift/ tires do you have?

  • 3" body lift, leveling brackets for torsion bars.. They are 315X75-16 on 16X10 inch rims with 4.5" backspace. Rubs slightly at full articulation. Works and rids great.
