So, are you hitting gb-20 on both sides on the base of the skull while forcing the skull into the strike, or are you also hitting points on the top of the skull as well?
I dont know why it works using the top of fourhead, but if you feel down the middle of the back of your head you will feel a lump. Bellow that lump is where the skull ends, and there are many many nerves exiting there and they are very close together.
You dont really need a height advantage, My training partner is 6ft 3 and 17 stone and i am 4 ft 9 and 9 stone, he still feels the effect, and the power level we are using is about about 3 to 5 %. It works on the basis of shorting out two points in one go and causing a system overload which the body cannot handle, subsequently the guy you hit, hits the floor if you wish, or goes dizzy or just buys you a few seconds for another technique when used as a set up move.
In USA these points are called "lights out" switches. This instructor is among the best I've seen. I bet he will demonstrate other Knockout points.. Not a good idea to share these with general public tho...
If anyone would care to answer me, What exactly is the power behind this? Is it a temple shot, a concussion type hit to the head, some kind of strange KO scalp movement, what? I can see the demonstrator isn't faking, but how does this disable you?
i dont really know why it works, but i tried this softly on myself (for some reson) and if my neck is relaxed I do get a dissy fealing trough my hed and down to my body. I think the move makes your head dissy since the two hits is on diffrent levels compared to echother witch would bend the neck, not break but quickly bend or how i chould explain... i dont know how to say it in english since im from swweden so im sorry for my spelling.
this is the funniest thing i have ever seen. the way the trainer just uses his assistant as a rag doll, and takes him down with out a car in the world is great.
Argggggh it works!

i think the hand on the forehead is to stabilize the skull and make those nerves suffer the full force of the blow

I love this guy's videos. Not so much for techniques he shows, so much as for his assistant's priceless reactions to getting beaten on. Five stars.

how often would you get an openining big enough let you widely swing both arms towards a person's head?
at that distance, a quick jab in the groins would counter this.
also you would need a height advantage i would assume.
interesting never the less.
