i got the same trap. i found it in the woods n its all rusty but it still works. i put some old steak in it n caught a coon. luckily it wasn't rabid n i was able to let it go without getting bitten
I had a lot of problems with squirrels and racoons digging holes in my back yard looking for grubs or something to eat. I started feeding them poison peanuts and that pretty much took care of the problem. :)
hi if u want a small trick put cut or just pieces of christmas trees on the bottom of the cage so the animal doesnt feel the cage under his feet nad blam
have the sam1 but i catch squirrels and i pop them in the head and my dad pays me because they kill his garden lol

use a very small trap a small ground could step on the trigger plate and it still would not go off.
