I bought the original version for the saturn back in 1995 and I though it looked great and was fast paced..... until I played the arcade version on emulator recently..... damn I realised it was slow and sluggish...... I never bought the Championship edition but maybe I should have.... 30fps instead of 20fps for the original.
@TheSmashgamer This isn't the rare and expensive version, CCE can be had for under $10 if you know where to look. The rare and expensive version is the Netlink Edition.
This updated version used a modified Saturn engine from Sega Rally Championship considering that Daytona CCE was developed by Sega-AM3 (Hitmaker), who worked on the aforementioned game.
The Japanese version, Daytona USA: Circuit Edition (released a few months later) included both the arcade and CCE soundtracks, and also brought back the original control scheme.
Im amazed about how much better this looks compared to the first Daytona Usa on Saturn, that one had some ugly-ass pop-up, it was really distracting.
Does this CE include the original music tracks with vocals? Kinda weird to race on Seaside street galaxy withouth hearing: I WANNA FLYYY SKY HIGHH!

How do you drive this effectively? When I try the drifting I end up sideslamming into a wall.

It's awesome. How did you get it because it's supposed to be pretty rare and expensive.

The game sounds really cool. For a 96 game, it has very good graphics, i kinda like the graphics. But the game sounds really cool.
