I was able to sit in the front row at the three stages production in 2011 and i have to say that it was WORTH it! The dancers were amazing and the choreography was astonishing!!! Pamela Hayes and her troupe are certainly like no other studio
I wonder how long it takes to learn to be able to dance with that Nutcracker head! You guys should check out our Nutcracker parody videos (look for the NUTSHELLS trailer).
ohmygod. is this a joke? i mean, after they have that stupid hand fight, the mouse picks up the sword and hands it to the nutcracker? -______- plus the way the mouse dies is ridiculous. and they're not even dancing. i don't call that dancing.
@misscomplication1 Okay, it may not look oh-so professional, but they did well. Not every Nutcracker performance can look like that. Clara was probably hiding; and as for the mask and mice costumes...well, maybe that's the design the costume designer had in mind! True, artistic design should catch the eye and I do appreciate when it does, fancy or not. I like this. And I've seen worst; I think that they did well. Besides, ballets should mostly be about the dancing, not how A-list it looks!
I like this! I like the sword fight between the Mouse King and the Nutcracker, and the little hand fight they have at 1:17. It's cool that some comedic relief was added to such a serious scene.
i don,t belive it i done this in PE at school.
