@dodgeramkx250 I like how the info says "beating a newer ford 5.4" but its not even one of the newer ones.. The newest that could possibly be is a 2003. But the f150s were the same all the way from back in 1997 till 2003. So basically this truck was not a newer version of its model than your truck. This couldve been a 1998 f150 and been the exact same thing. The newer ones from 04-08 have 3v heads. newer than that are completely different.
These videos are cool and I thank everyone who takes the time to record and post them on this forum. I do however think some of you take this stuff a bit too serious. Not one of these videos is proof of a damn thing. You talk to one guy who has a Dodge with 200k plus on his rig, and you'll talk to 2 that will say the same thing about their Fords, same thing for Chevy and so forth. I don't know what it'd take to make some of you simple minded goobers realize this is for entertainment only.
@chinchillawrangler keep in mind my truck has 253,000 on it. newer ohc 5.4s are pieces of shit. Maybe after 60 they will give me a run for my money, but towing and 0-60 are weak. you have to do programmer, intake and exhaust just to make them run with 90s chevys and dodges!!
@dodgeramkx250 ya i am but im also the kind of fan that will admit when somthing else is better lol, im not a huge fan of the truck racing vids cuz personally i think when it has to do with trucks speed has little to do with how good they are since trucks are built for hulling loads and stuff id rather see like truck pull vids lol
@swartzy07 ok yea i agree with you kinda. We are only racing 300 feet in mud and snow with lots of holes and ruts. So realy we are comparing torque, 4x4 traction and honestly a little durability. But trucks are definetly made for towing and hauling. I was just having a little fun. Iv never hooked chains with an f 150, i would love to. The only thing iv hooked up with is a 76 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4, and i won. If you go on my channel, in the vids i have it on hear.
