  • ive heard that a limiter on the master track was a no no. So this is not true?

  • Great track. Now we just need a vid going through what you did to create this particular Techno track!!!

  • i honestly don't hear any differences..

  • TY this is great

  • you should do a video on EQ.. plz lol

  • why didnt you render the audio before the mastering process??!!

  • this is GOOD, but! mines BETTER.

    L82 Loudness Maximizer->D82 Sonic Maximizer->Saturater->Compressor->Limiter

sounds huge, great from hip hop, to metal, to electro, to indie

  • Judging by your voice, I was guessing you were mixing some calm rock song or something, then when you press play, and it's like the fastest, sickest techno ever, haha ^^

  • what did you throw on the kicks to get them to punch thru so heavy like that

  • @beatsbycetty try the vst dada life sausage ( its free !! )

or if you use ableton live u can try the audio effect saturator or overdrive ... ;)

  • HOW ABOUT MASTERING THE AUDIO IN THIS VIDEO? #heartattackindeed

  • talk a little bit like lumpy space princess in adventure time

  • ok, but you did not use the "Utility" ?!

  • your voice....

  • That bass is sexy! i wanna make that!

  • Good tutorial bro.

  • Do you recommend taking care of fighting frequencies between tracks before or after this process?

  • @Arpetrio1 Definitely before no matter what. People tend to take care of fighting frequencies right before mastering, and some like to take care of them along the making of the track. It really depends on what suits you best... I'm a perfectionist when it comes to frequencies, It can take days for me to get it totally right... JUST on the frequencies XD

  • i smell cheeeeeese.... anyhow a nice tutorial mate :)

  • Holy shit, that loop, hahah

    But big ups, my man

  • Thanks!

  • this track seriously made me want to take my clothes off and go hardcore dancing all over town naked!!!!!

  • fuck, you really couldn't have picked a more annoying loop as an example.

  • "a wee bit more" lol, thanks for the vid, helped me out a lot

  • thank you for the mastering tutorial

  • Very similar to what I use in my mastering chain. There's a preset in Ableton's library that's called "Vintage Mastering 2", it's very useful for people beginning to use ableton and don't really know how to master. It helps alot

  • @chiobeo82 it did thanks i just played around with it and got a good track from that preset

  • Comment removed

  • @chiobeo82 : can u tell me in which machine is that preset, the "vintage mastering" ? thankx

  • @2xplor Sure, no problem. The "Vintage Mastering" preset comes with Ableton Live. I use Ableton Live Suite 8, but I'm pretty sure all the late versions of Ableton should have it. To find it, you open up Ableton, click on the upper left arrow to view the browser, click on Audio Effects, then click the Audio Effect Rack, you'll find the preset under the Mastering tab. You can try all the mastering presets they have there, they sound really well with a couple of little tweaks.

  • @chiobeo82 Thanks a lot !

  • dude awesome video, tnx so damn much!!!!!!

  • Mastering psy :D Thanks man..

  • cannot hear the difference...

  • yeah good tutorial but absolutely not my style of music. So let's get outta here.
