If you look up the translation of this song you realize it's a love song. It sounds angry but the woman is actually singing about how much she wishes she could have the object of her desires. I think knowing that has put a whole new perspective to the movie here :)

@rosebud961 I love this video, too - in fact I faved it ages ago, based simply on the song! Today I thought I'd take a chance, try to find it on my phone. I'm in the States, & there are some American songs I can't find, so what are the odds I'd find an older Swedish song? Imagine my sweet shock to find a download there! There was like 10 seconds at the beginning of what sounded like a ticking clock? though, but at long last I now have the song to listen to everyday!

@MrsHdR Uma and Kate are both very skilled actors, and especially Kate could have been able to act Éowyn. But they have very recognizable face. It's nicer to watch movie and see the characters without thinking "Oh, it's that actor, yeah, she played that other chick too in that other movie, it was pretty cool, I read she has new boyfriend now..." etc. :)

Lol you don't get it, it's eurovision, the lyrics are so cheesy they couldn't possibly be anything but parody. Perhaps you need to actually speak swedish to get it, the way they use such silly frases just to make it rhyme, the old-fashioned words here and there and so on. When I found this video I laughed so hard I cried, it's absolutely hilarious! XD

This video is so awesome. In so many ways in the book and movies you want Aragorn and Eowyn to end up together. But Aragorn had Elvish blood and had already fallen for Arwen. And Eowyn marrying Faramir just strengthed the relationship of Rohan and Gondor.

This is kind of unimportant to the enjoyment of the movie, but Tolkien's Rohirric would have been semi-related to Swedish, so it's appropriate that the song is in that language. At any rate, it's a cool movie, and I love foreign lang. music.
