  • thats the ufo i saw the other night

  • What's the difference between this and the $110 version?

  • enjoyed it! thanks for making the video! keep 'em coming and I hope Nitroplanes and Hobbyking send you the planes for free, free toys are great!!

  • I have a dynam extra 330 the o-rings are what holds the prop onto the motor shaft use one o-ring for the prop. slip o-ring on one side of screw head stretch o-ring around prop over to the other screw head. That's what holds the prop on and no free spin. And yes it does hold tight. Make sure screws are fairly tight other wise motor could spin shaft under prop torque. Causing prop to fall or fly off motor shaft.

  • @trizzo5: The instructions are incorrect. What you have is a "prop saver" - put the prop on the motor shaft, then stretch an o-ring over it across the 2x nuts and that holds the prop on. In case of crash, it pops off to limit damage. Good luck!

  • Great videos,I just got my 330, having problems with the prop, instructions show a nut but i was given a bearing with 2 screws, the prop clips on and screws to shaft but free spins and has no pull? There is also 2 rubber O rings i cant work out where they go.? Any help would be great....

    Thanks in advance

  • HAHHA DAVEE UR SOO BEAST BRO! U MAY BE LIKE 40 BUT U STILL GOT SOME EXCITEMENT ON YOU KEEP MAKING THOSE VIDS!

  • @boyy119 he is actually 54 or something 0.o

  • @rc18trocks loll i didnt know pl0x

  • can you review this 4-3Q2 Walkera Micro Brushless Metal Version w/ 2.4GHz 2402 Transmitter ive been thinking about this heli but i have not heard if its good or bad please respond

  • did it come with a motor??

  • how can i get some navi lights like that? and how much?

  • how did u put the prop on? my kit seems to be missing something coz it only came with that sinlge metal thing with the 2 screws on the motor shaft...

  • @tanman77au Did u sort that out cause mine has the same thing. The prop clips in the metal housing but mine free spins??? Prop freespins on shaft? what do i do??? Any help please guys

  • really looks nice??

  • Great Video! What size propeller came with the plane?

I really like the power screwdriver made from the old Kraft servo!

  • awsome!

  • Foamies are for fags.

  • can you deminstrait the e flight larmer coaxual choper Please Mr Herbert'

  • may be that place where is quite and if damage no one care XD

  • can someoe explain why he is flting at a cematery

  • Great video, thanks for sharing. Now we know where all the UFO reports come from

  • would have been nice if the wing tip LEDs were under the sticker. not that you can notice it when it's up in the air. lol

  • can anyone please tell me if the outrunner in the this plane if off set , as mine is

  • How off set is it? It should be maybe 5-degrees offset to counter the motor torque.

  • can you explain what a snap roll is. you mentioned it in the video. not sure what that is. does it mean you have too much power and the plan wants to get away from you.

  • its basicly a normal roll or "corkscrew" but done with aggression. any1 correct me if im wrong.

  • A "snap roll" is when the plane rolls left or right along its longitudinal axis in a quick and snappy manner. Similarly there is also a "4-point roll", in which like a snap roll, the plane rolls left to right, but unlike a snap roll, its done rather leisurely and in 90 degree segments. (e.g. rolls left 90 degrees, roll left to inverted (upside down), roll 90 degrees again, roll 1 final time to level.

  • thought a snap roll was a roll with applied rudder.

right rudder with hard right stick & some elevator.

    whats this called then?

  • No one mentioned how its done, just what it was, and you are correct, thats a snap roll, or at least thats how I do em.

  • do you fly helicopters at night?

  • Very cool!You are pro. :)

  • i have yet to try night flying. problem is that my wife would get suspicious that i was doing something else. btw, i like the decal at the wingtips that you personally added. semper fi!

  • nice, all video should be like this , if you have the time .

  • if u were night flyying how would u see a tree lol?

  • That's why you fly only in an open field. I was flying in a simulator at night and had no idea my plane flew into a tree until I saw it spinning on the ground with half a wing....

    lmao

  • nice plane

  • Nice plane, I think that is the first electric version 330 I have seen, cool!

  • I called nitroplanes to see if they carried parts, and they said they didn't. I can't find any parts anywhere.

  • It is too new, I guess. Not much to break anyway, that superglue or hotmelt glue wont fix.

  • muy bueno el extra 330 quierooooo uno ¿ No lo regalan por fabor ? agradeceria uno el envio lopago yo para la zona de argentina

  • Mucho Gracias, Senor.

  • I knew it Dave has a U.F.O. lol

  • HA HA.L

  • @NightFlyyer ROFLLL NICEEEEE UFO LLL0LL0L0L0L0

  • hey dave how much do you think it would ost to someday get into electric flying?

and where did you get that awesome mini electric screwdriver?

    thanks alot,

    rockonmyfriend

  • You can get into electric flying with something good for about $85, like in my Firebird Phantom videos. I made the screwdriver and have a video on how to make your own. Thanks kindly.

  • thankyou very much but i meant if i ever decided to make something like an ep arf how much it would cost to getstiff like lipo batteries and firld chargers and power boxes and stuff?

    thank you

    Rockonmyfriend

  • now you can combine all leds together on this plane and really brighten up the plane in the sky cool video

  • Yes, but this is easier. Christmas trees are hard to see at a distance to tell what is going on with a jumble of lights. Been there.

  • Not as fast as i expected.

  • a OVni!!

  • another great vid night flyer very entertaining

  • wow great job, that tail wheel sounds awesome. The LED's are set up perfectly!! Congrats on another great mod!

  • Thank you very much. I appreciate that.

  • Do you have a lot of UFO reportings at your location? I wouldn´t wonder. :-) Great video!

  • LOL. Thanks.

  • well yea it did took long

  • thx

  • Can I have your life? You play with toys all day.

How can I find out what the legality is of flying them in my area, I am in Lake Elsinore, CA, I probably could have gotten away with it before, but there is now a water dropping plane in the lake, something tells me flying this would be a no-no.

  • Haha. When I lived in So Cal, I flew night demonstrations many years ago with the Lake Elsinore model flyers. They fly on the West side of the lake, and am sure they are still around. A good bunch of guys. You could search for their club at the AMA website and contact them. I'm sure they would be happy to welcome you.

  • Can you adopt me as a grand kid?!? LOL!!!

  • adopt me to plz!

  • If your watching, your adopted.

  • Woot! xD. That extra 330 is the bomb. I need to pick one up!

  • Haha. I think I have a lot of them on this channel. Glad your here and watching.

  • ha ha cool thx for posting your vids

  • Thanks very kindly.

  • Another great vid Dave. Nice assembly footage. Now I see why you recommend the rubber wheels so you can get those COOL skidding on asphalt sound effects, LOL! Love the night flying footage, very cool. 5 stars.

  • Haha. Thanks very kindly. I sure hope Kimberly is ok. I got your phone message. Hang in there and get an airbag for the back bumper of the semi!. ;-)

  • Yeah, I'm gonna need one, huh? I hate to say it, but those container haulers (at least in LA) are known for following way too closely. You saw the photos. He rammed us pretty good. Anyone in a car would have been seriously injured. Kimberly is still quite sore so it's a day by day thing. Thx for your concerns, I'll pass them along sir.

  • Very Very Nice Dave seems like it flies very well

  • Thanks. Yes, it is nice and smooth.

  • wow, way cool.

  • Thanks. kindly.

  • Awesome review Dave!!!

  • Thanks very much.

  • Good review Dave! Looks like a pretty nice plane. I wonder if the receiver is compatable with JR. BTW, I' m in the process of opening a hobbyshop in Kannapolis NC. Nothing fancy, just hope it will supplement my retirement income. Should be ready by early spring.

  • Thanks Gary. The receiver is compatible with JR and Futabas on 72 MHZ, I wish you luck with your hobby store. The worst part would be all the inexperienced people that bring stuff back and blame the MFG for their crash, usually due to inexperience. But if you can see through that, I am sure you will succeed. Good luck and thanks.

  • Where at in Kannapolis? I will swing by the next time I go through there. I'll be going through NC tomorrow in fact on my way up to PA. Send me a PM w the info, thx. I visit hobby shops all over the U.S. when I can. Good luck!

  • That is a nice looking plane..

    GET OUT and FLY!!

    BruceM (BFOAMY)

  • Thanks you. I agree, get out and fly.

  • another excellent review. Thanks,

  • Thank you sir.

  • hey cool whered u get the mini electric screwdriver

  • He made it out of a really old Kraft servo.

  • I made it myself and use it for a lot of stuff. See my video on how to make it. Thanks.

  • the only problem i have with mine is that on tight screws the screwdriver remains stationary and the bottom gear spins, but i think that is because i didn't put glue on before i pushed the screwdriver head into the gear.

  • i made one myself and it works great. it only cost me around 20$ excluding the battary and charger

  • Dave I've been watching your video's for the better part of the year now. They are great! I'm now flying both planes and heli's, your video's help to inspire me to go for it and it's been the best summer ever. Thanks Dave

  • Thanks for the support. I am pleased to hear you are progressing. Good luck.

  • Did u fly at cemetry?

  • I flew in the field beside the cemetary. My Father in Law and Mother in law are buried right where my van was parked and watched over that maiden flight.

  • o ok i am juz wondering wad if the plane hit some 1 tombstone

  • dave answer this. why r u so awesome?

  • because he's been there, done that, and has an awesome cameraman. lol

    Jeff

  • Haha! I agree.

  • the lights look really cool

  • Thanks kindly.

  • where can I get the YACK 54 with GYRO or is there any? like in my REALFLIGHT G4 Simulator? im living in Dubai U.A.E. and I would like to switch to RC Airplane forawhile...

    thanks

  • There are many different Yaks on the market. Nitroplanes sells them. You can add a gyro to it, but it won't help much, as you need lots of practice flying this plane without a gyro, so you would know what to do with a gyro and which axis to put it on.

  • Here's a good appearence idea: try removing the cowl and underlap the decals under the cowl. also, was that glue okay? should you use epoxy instead? great video!

  • The glue is fine. I've used it before. It holds good, but drys kinda slow. At least you don't have to mix it.

  • The cowel was already glued on, so I did not attempt to do that. I was lucky to get that close. Epoxy would be too messy to get that tail on, as it required some finesse and time to line it all up with the wire that goes in the rudder. Thanks for the comments.

  • is your cessna 210 still okay? i have one but i cant do it in small areas like u

  • I broke the wing and took the radio out and made my own plane from egg cartons. But it is still kinda heavy now.

  • Thanks very kindly. I will.

  • Was that a graveyard? O.o

  • Beside the graveyard. My Mother and Father in law both deceased watched over that first flight.

  • Yep them new lights really do work very well and what a nice plane too ;-) and yes your right the tail wheel did sound better after you put one on lol,5*

  • Haha. Thanks again. The rubber wheel really helps.

  • Wow Nice plane I like the lights

  • Thanks very much.

  • can you make more videos because i watched all your videos

  • I'll bet that took a while.....

  • Your a good man. I will. Thanks.

  • Awesome vid Dave.

How about going "Clark W. Griswold" style and plaster lights all over the entire plane!?! That would be pro!

    Thanks again, Dave.

    PM

  • Yep, well thanks. Jumbles of lights make for hard to see flying at a distance. I cant fly Christmas trees at all. Sorry. Thanks for the kudos.

  • very very nice lights on night flying. looks really really cool. good job again dave. good job.

  • Thanks. I appreciate your comments.

  • nice job dave, really nice plane too. good review, very thourogh. very nice video (as usual. looks good when nightflying. nice!

  • Thank you very much. It is fun to fly this one in the dark.

  • Ha, for the price I'm going to snag one. Can you get replacement parts for it?

  • Great. I do not know about parts, but am sure Nitroplanes has them.

  • Looks like a really great plane. Your audience seemed to be a little dead though lol:P another great video. 5/5

  • Thanks very much. I appreciate that.

  • can you send me anu rc plane you dont use?

  • The ones I dont use, would be no use to anyone, as they are pretty well toast, and gutted. Sorry.

  • Excellent video! It seems like I learn something new with every video that I watch of you and Jeff. Keep up with the good work. 5*

  • Thanks very much. I appreciate your comments.

  • Thats cool Dave, hope to see that when I come over.............Bob

  • You will, you will... Cant wait.

  • With that rubber tire, it sounds just like a car burning out or skidding.

  • yea, because he didnt just add in the sounds after...

    idiot

  • Ah... you must be a Democrat!

  • I did ad the sounds, just for fun. But I also do have a rubber wheel on it now too.

  • Hahah.

  • very cool!!

  • Thanks very kindly.

  • thats a nice plane to bad for me i lost one on top of a two story tile roof just got to wait for the wind to bloow it it or unless you have any ideas how to get it off plz tell me its going to rain and will it work after it shorts out the batery is dead

  • Bummer, the battery will be dead, most likely, but the plane should be ok. I throw baseballs in bags with cord tied to it and try to pull the branches and shake them till if falls... Otherwise, it is ladder time. Sorry.

  • I tried night flying and i crashed =] im not very good at it

  • All flying takes practice. Practice in the day, though.

  • you can really see the piolot light

  • The plane seems to ramp up fast. With all that power we need to see a night time flight off the launcher. You could use some small halogens on the launcher so they look like beacons. The dusk flight looks awesome again. Great video!

  • I will do the launcher next week. Thanks kindly.

  • SWEET NICE JOB SO COOL make more vids

  • Thanks very kindly. I will.

  • sweet i want that

  • Thanks.

  • Wow! Looks real nice, nice night flying!

    .

    ~DLPlanes

  • Thanks very kindly.

  • Broken wing?

  • Sweet.

  • would this be a good beginner plane? it looks very nice for its price!

  • Not by a long shot.

If you don't wanna build you own planes, get an EasyStar.

  • I dont mind the building, im just wondering if it is easy or hard to fly

  • Best with an instructor. Some folks pick it right up, but this is harder than a high wing, say.

  • Extra 300 is a full 3D plane. Very maneuverable, but if you make a mistake when flying, very unforgiving.

Dave makes it look easy, but he's probably been flying for longer then you've been alive.

Start with something like EasyStar and either with a person that's been flying for a while or on a simulator.

  • EasyStar is 3 channel right? ive been on a sim for a few weeks and i can handle the controlls very well, i want something 4ch to start out with..

  • Get something like a PT-40. High wing trainer, nitro engine, 4CH, handles very well and it will even let you do some loops and rolls.

It's also quite forgiving to rough landings and crashes.

Keep in mind though that even if you fly sim for weeks or months, the first flight will be quite a new experience.

  • I don't recommend this plane for beginners. It is nice for the price however.

  • nice video

  • Thanks.

  • nice plane, seems like a lot of fun for a reasonable p!rice. Another good vid !

  • Thank you very much.

  • didn't you already upload this?

  • I had to re-upload it.

  • Dave, Another great video!!! Glad to see you using the lights!! Tom is a member of my flying club in SC and it is great to see his business taking off with help from fellow hobbiest

  • Thanks very kindly. I love Tom's lights. I am happy to have someone make lights that actually can be seen. Did you see the other video I made on his lights?

  • Yes sir I did!! They really looked awesome on the F-18

  • Hey I'm in Columbia, SC right now. :-)

  • cool is it fun to fly

  • I have seen the whole video in 7 minutes

  • NIce video.

  • Thanks very much.
