I hate Target for making this commercial and using this song because for some strange reason I catch myself doing the "yoddling" part ever time it comes on. To make matters worse, I went and downloaded the song! Now I can't stop singing the song. I can't believe I'm saying this, but... I now love Dolly Parton! whooohoooo!!! hahaha
don't feel ashamed I am the only person that i know that loves dolly she is such a beautiful person u can tell threw her songs and lyrics. she inspires me like frankie I don't care what other people think . live ur life and notice beauty when u see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh wow, lucky you! :0) ive always loved Dolly, she's just so feminine and dainty, a true southern belle :) ive always loved her accent too.she seems so down to earth :)
you can get the whole dolly parton "MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM" song at itunes for only .99 cents! it has such a great beat and i love the target ad!!!!!
I thought the voice was distinctly Dolly when I saw the TARGET commercial; a google search confirmed it. The BLACK man climbing the mountain of SCOTT toilet tissue in the commercial could evoke thoughts of SCOTTISH RITES, but does it have anything to do with the debacle of the (former) RANDY PARTON THEATER in Roanoke Rapids, NC? If Randy had a voice as distinctive as Dolly's, then the project wouldn't be the disaster it is now. DOLLY was on site in November 2005 for the groundbreaking.
I don't which Target ad I like more: this one, or when they used Petula Clark's "A Sign of the Times" a few years ago. Someone in Target's marketing department has GREAT taste in music!
yeah, i kinda thought it was Dolly, lol, best target commercial out of the whole collection. Those HelloGoodbuy commercials put me in an episode of depression; I'm not sure why though.
I like this song/commercial/ad the most, it makes me feel tranced and joyous....the one that made me depressed was the HelloGoodBUY songs...u know, the "u say goodBUY, i say Hello" series
Have you ever been to 'Dollywood'? We're from Jersey and are thinking of going there. It's either there, or Myrtle Beach. *Clue* us in. lol Thanks! ~Patti
i've went there just hope your really southern other wise you won't like it . if you go you have to go to this restrant called backstage theater somthing they have really good burgers
Thanks! We're from Jersey, but the trip is off for now, suffering from "Fundzalow" (funds are low) lol. Where I'd really like to go, is to the "Outer Banks" of NC. Or, to Myrtle Beach to do the 'Shag'. ~Pat~
This is such a cool commercial! And come on, Dolly? An American Legend and National Treasure! Who doesn't love some Dolly Parton? Thanks for posting this vid!
