Ohhhh, Ann, my dear sweet friend. I love this one. I've heard Doris sing this one before. It is beautiful, and you did a super job. You look so nice and pretty in your floral dress. Thanks for sharing - a great song. Take care. Gwen
@cadjunk Hi Gwen; I'm so glad you stopped in to listen. And an pleased that you love this song! Thank you for your very kind comment and compliment, my dear sweet friend! Kind Regards! Ann
Dear Ann, Enjoyed your performance on this one. I can tell you, this is a REAL old one. My grandmother sang this when I was a boy and she always said she remember HER mother singing it in church. So it's been around for awhile now. I do remember way back when the Rambos recorded this; in fact, I have that record around here somewhere. Very nice job Ann. Your Friend In Missouri, Mo Jo
Hello Ann,I love this song and you sang it beautifully. This is the first song I remember The Rambo's singing,so it has special meaning to me.You look so nice as you always do in your videos. Many Stars for this, and I'm sure there will be many stars in your crown, you are a very kind lady and friend. Two Thumbs up! Smiles-Jerry
@jc6154 Thank you so much Jerry, for such a very nice and kind comment and compliment. And for your visit. Margaret introduced me to this song two years ago. I'd never heard it before that. And I just thought it was a beautiful song and had to learn it to sing. It has been here on YouTube for about a year and a half, and I thought I'd send it out to my new friends here on YouTube. I didn't know who the original singers were. The Rambos, that's wonderful to know who put it out. Smiles ~ Ann
This was my mom's favorite song and she requested it be sang at her funeral by a family friend. It was sang in October 2002. I miss my mom and one day know I will be reunited with her.
I also love your version, you sound very happy while singing

You can hear the thundering at the end of this song; yes; it was storming outside, but cozy inside. :-)
