How did Tony not go after the strongest or biggest guy? Everyone else at the table is in their 40s, 50s and 60s and are overweight and out of shape. Moltisanti is like 160lbs soaking wet. Tony picked the young buck with the muscular body. That was the whole point. He wanted to make an impression on the guys by beating up someone who is young and in their prime.
Also, he can't hit a made guy. So that excludes a lot of the people in the room. He has to go for an associate or a hang around.

@riddick7819 Easier said than done. Have youu ever tried it? Depends how tall the fat person is aswell. If he was 5ft 5 than yeah it would be easy but Gandolfini has got to be about 5ft 10 atleast. You would be surprised what a couple more inches in height can do.

@hammerskin87 , well it wouldnt matter much in my case though, i am 6'2 and weigh about 198-201 on average, mostly lean muscle with some fat, there is another youtuber on my friends list that has met me in person and she could vouch for me on that if you dont belive me, i also took wrestling in high school for my senior year and loved it, and took karate for 2 and half years, i know how to throw my weight around but most importantly i know how to defend against punches and kicks, trust me.

@hjbit funny you should say that. i have a shaved head, i wear alot of tank tops, i have tattoos, i have a go-T, i have a retro fitness membership and im italian american, and im a very nice guy that hates fighting. in fact ive only been in one fight in my whole life, and i was defending myself and the other guy got arrested. you should learn to not judge a book by its cover. it isnt nice to do.

This is not surprising at all. Gandolfini is huge like 6'2" maybe 270-280 lbs yeah hes kinda fat but he's got alot of muscle under there. Take a look at former UFC fighter Tank Abbott he's a fat guy with a gut built like Tony Soprano and nearly took off a guy's head with a punch, and knocked out a 400 lbs John Matua completely unconscious. And besides, that kid aint that big, just looks like every other d bag at my gym who stares in the mirror. lol

Good fight but my brother Scott is 6'3 and weighs 220 pounds and very muscular, he also took Wrestling in high school and college for years and knows how to throw his weight around and is very good at punching and boxing, i would to see Tony try to take someone like him on and get his ass kicked, these gangsters win fights because people are afraid of them and because they fight dirty all the time, yet some people are tough and know how to fight very well and are just regular people.

How did Tony not go after the strongest or biggest guy? Everyone else at the table is in their 40s, 50s and 60s and are overweight and out of shape. Moltisanti is like 160lbs soaking wet. Tony picked the young buck with the muscular body. That was the whole point. He wanted to make an impression on the guys by beating up someone who is young and in their prime.
Also, he can't hit a made guy. So that excludes a lot of the people in the room. He has to go for an associate or a hang around.

If I remember correctly, Tony did this to set an example. He needed to do it, so that the crew would respect him - not doubting his strength.
It is all brilliant made! This was after Tony was in the hospital, it was at the time his greatness fell. Like most characters on the show. Bit by bit, they destroyed themselves and became shadows of their former selves. Many got killed in the end, while the likes of Paulie just became a pathetic guy.
Brilliant made! The best series ever.
