  • under an official act the plan is to move all Government infrastructure to Manchester it is the countries 'second-city' Also, I doubt this will happen as there is more than just the thames barrier in london.

  • Venice eat your heart out.

  • I knew I shouldnt have pissed down that drain.

  • Should just about come up to my 4th floor balcony; that will be convenient for mooring the boat!

  • @JimTLonW6 You will be able to sail upto the supermarket in the Midlands with out having to worry about motorways and traffic lights lol Bit of fishing off the balcony aswell, sounds like heaven to me haha

  • fuck them, bunch of thieving scumbags anyway

  • @tashpish you racist cunt

  • watched it, thought it was cool, then read the tags. Global warming really? Disliked.

  • Id be on that boat and not worry about it.

  • Only 1 or 2 inches of sea level rise will flood many parts of London, inc' parliament.

If another 1953 occurs: wind push water south in the North Sea, high spring tides & heavy rain on the land, then London WILL flood, the barrier will not stop it. 1/2" rise in the North Sea means billions of liters of extra water. The capital MUST be moved to somewhere like Liverpool immediately.

The affected area must be made into parkland.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad Why dont they just build barriers like they do in Holand! they have always been under sea level. When was the last time they got flooded?

Not sure if the Scousers would want the Capitol moved to there lol! Sorry Uncle Pete if you read this I mean Liverpuddlians lol hahaha

  • @MrNativeDancer

The Dutch barriers failed in 1953. 1000s were killed.

Yes, Liverpudlians would chance that bunch in Westminster right out of town.

Seriously, Liverpool has been suggested many times as a new capital - not by the inhabitants.

    The capital has to move.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad I love Liverpool but wouldn't Edinburgh be the new capital.

  • @BackInAGiffy

Edinburgh is in Scotland! and just as much out of the way, in UK terms, as London. Liverpool is geographically central to the UK. Liverpool is near to Wales (Welsh satisfied), on the right side for NI as well. Near to Dublin, an EU capital city. Easy to get to from all of the UK. Easy to to from Scotland, the west country and Midlands. A world known waterfront and many redundant docks to convert to Whitehall use. The most known British city after London. The natural choice.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad yeah id like it to be in Liverpool too its a brilliant place, but id miss the iconic landmarks of London even though Liverpool has its own to :)

  • @BackInAGiffy

The landmarks of London may be no m,ore if another 1953 comes along. This time it will be more severe because of sea level rises. One inch on the North Sea is lots more of water (billions of litres) trying to get past the straights of Dover. It has to go onto the land.

  • What about the Thames freezing over next winter?

  • @smithee11 where do u get this software dude?

  • water doesn't ripple. Problem.

  • i want this sim, where can get this

  • what program did you make this on?

  • So only S London is seriously affected?

    What's the problem then?

  • @AnyoneForCoffee they`ll still be making eastenders.

  • Its ok It is South london The poor will die again

  • was dat it

  • why do immigrants come here its one of the most rainiest places ever its rainy right now

  • @Simsaddict98 because its fking amazing! and i like rain too hehe n.n' why do people come to mexico? specially Puerto Vallarta?? the sun here is to intense!!

  • By the time earths water has grown by ten metres london will be on venus

  • okay ppl ill be waiting for you on Big Ben

  • Hi, where did you get this topology? I would like to have it and try some of my softwers for shallow water simulation. Thx

  • so basically london's going to become new venice but full of fag ends, immigrants and mcdonalds wrappers floating about everywhere? oh well, at least we wont have to worry about congestion charge and bendy busses anymore :)

  • I wonder if this would improve fishing.

  • maybe the towell-heads will drown...

  • as long as birmingham isn't the new capital then i'm ok about it.

  • dont worry i can sleep in the london eyes capsule

  • @1234567loading 555+

I think evacuated from there by copter or airplane all jet

  • Does this video have a hidden bigot attractor on it somewhere?

  • now remember, it will be cold too and stormy, dont forget winter. Hate immigrants? You may be one soon....

  • where did you get that software

  • Thats actually good idea to have a lake instead of this filthy polluted town. :)

Just kidding!! Good i live on the hill.

  • lol

  • You spelt London wrong!! How is that possible?? It's easy enough to spell!

  • @islandinthesea Apparently, he or she is from Georgia, in the US. I know for some that wouldn't be an excuse, anyway, but it's highly illustrative, and we have to show a little more sympathy.

  • Oh dear. Goodbye London...lol!!

  • if this drowns the chavs, illegal imigrants, blacks and pakis then let's do it.

  • born or migrated they are still lazy fucks.

and the hindu's hate muslims more than anyone i think, seeing as they were the first people the muslims tired to wipe out.

  • at 0.5 metres westminster bridge will be flooded!?!?!?! hahaha

  • the bridges still functionning though xD

  • What a complete pantload. Name one credible scientist that predicts 10 meters.

The IPCC predicts worst case scenario of between less than an inch to 7.5 inches.

Yet another "JUNK" video full of lies.

    Pat yourself on the back.

  • what happens to the worlds natural resources if the "IPCC" predicts what really will happen and everyone moves away from coasts? our world is corrupt, and this kind of thing is seen as a good way to thin population. why warn people? sad

  • Settle down. I see no claim in this video or its description of relating to how much the water level may rise, or under what circumstances that might occur. This is merely a visual representation which shows how much of a rise would be necessary to result in the flooding of certain areas.

  • what about Greenland? if it melts you can get as much as 7 to 8 meters..

  • im living near sea these is scary

  • markotraco, minilemur, 1 we are still in the ice age, as long as there is ice at both magnetic poles we are in an iceage,

2: we are speding this process up by burning follsil fuels, driving everywhere and wasting power!

so i suggest you take climate change eriously and stop being selfish.

this may not affect you but it will affect your children and granchildren!

  • well said markotraco - another example of ludicrous alarmism from eco-extremists. Even the ultra-alarmist IPCC only predicts some 20cm rise over the next century. So no cause for alarm.

  • Things on a planet don't always stay the same. This is the same as if let's say before the ice age came, someone made a video of stuff freezing over. Or showing a pilot a video of what his airplane would look like if it crashed. It's like, what's your fucking point? Only a total idiot would show a video like this and think he is making a point and proving some theory or argument. Unless, it is just done for fun.

  • its sure to bring the knife crime down hay

  • and boat thefts increase

  • what about indecent exposure....?

  • The scale is in 1000's of years, yes? Look up the facts.

  • the scale is in meters.

  • ok graphics, brill points. Worth watchin.

  • It needed a good wash anyway.

  • lol i live in south east..ill be alr...blb,blb,blb...

  • and i live in the states, so I'll be alright too!

  • ... the states will be under too...

  • Only some parts. Not where I live.

  • yeah, i guess you're right

  • lol i live in the north west.. ill be alright :D

  • no you won't...... if sea level rises only one meter, everything would be put out of balance. Not only will coastal cities be affected, the whole world would be plunged into a domino effect of disasters. Learn more at kids vs global warming (.) com

  • global warming will cause the sea to rise by 7+ meters. so the river will rise and get over the barrriers on to the streets. no matter what way you look at it, london will flood, and a barrier can't stop it. this flood will happen in about 50 to 60 years +.

  • oh dear when will it happen ? 2 , 10 ,50 , 100 well soon because thats a picture of london right now and anyway london will put in flood walls to stop it want they ?

  • It's funny how one side of the map is pretty much unaffected after a 10m flooding.

  • Stick to the high ground Bobby!

  • Thats why we have the The Thames Barrier.

  • don't you watch discovery? They had an entire show devoted to what would happen if the barrier would fail, or surge over due to global warming! *dun-dun-duuuuhhhh*
