  • also try not to hold it on your ends for too long, try to bump it

  • Your hair isn't bad looking, but I will say this, You should do a Oil Treatment, Then wash, then do a Deep condition, Egg, Honey and mayonaise, then rinse.... Blow dry with heat protectant, I think you should use Shea Butter as a heat protectant you would definitely love the results :)

  • Honey i can hear that flat iron ripping off your ends SMH !

  • Blow drying dry hair and a smoking flat iron????; that's just too much.....what's ur.hair type? Your is nice n full but u need to to get rid of.those ends..

  • Your hair looks extremely damaged and you are definitely using the wrong products for your hair.....you should really see a professional soon

  • @kmjohns26 lmmfao!!!! you aint neva lying!! lol lol

  • guedo

  • Okay video. You have heat damage and you need to clip your ends. We have the same flat iron, you can change the heat settings. I would recommend you lower your heat. My hair is just as thick and curly. I have no relaxer my hair comes out silky using the same flat iron so if you need help i can do a video.

  • your ends need to be clipped and you do have heat damage? i dont get it?? im sorry...

  • @LadyLeoBrownSuga28 ends need to be clipped because of split ends and damaged ends, heat damage is when your natural texture never quite comes back when you go and wash you hair, so rather than having some random straight dry hairs on your head might as well cut it... :)

  • @PixelatedTofu ha ha jtfo

  • i skipped through the video and i was hoping that the image that was after you using the flatiron wasnt that image i have very curly uncontrolable hair and i straighen it every day my hair is haft way down my back try using garnier fructis products creap and it works trust me

  • Your hair looks good ;not too straight but manageable. You can have lots of fun versatlie hair styles with this. Do you do twists? If so, when can you do a tutorial on it? I really love them; thinking of getting some twist

  • no heat?!? whats the flat iron ??? and hair dyer. FLAT IRON = HEAT DAMAGE

  • The hair looks really damaged. All that heat for nothing...

  • You have a lot of hair does that small amount coats every strand

  • Not every one wants their hair bone straight and she just wanted her hair straight enough to trim. Get a Damn Life!!!!

  • All you need is a better straightener and it will look better

  • what are u guys on about ...have u seen the difference,, its obvious it wont be tottally prefectly straight ..but there was a big difference from before and after ..looks greatx

  • is there smoke coming out of the flat iron?

  • What are you guys talking about her hair is thick like mines and the beginning gets bone straight but not my ends. If she made it completely straight or she did she could get alot of damage doing it herself. because shed need more heat

  • @kween4life y did u even waste your time biblefarce is clearly ignorant I mean her name says it all farce...basically calling the bible absurd and ridiculous...even if u don't believe in those beliefs it's rude and inconsiderate those type of people are not worth the time and energy

  • @kikireppin09 girl I said that myself in one of my last comments to her, I gotta have the last word sometimes though....lol but u def right..:)

  • Actually the people who said "Please do research" and "It still looks blown out"... it actually is African American hair, her hair was 'POOFED' out beacuse it dried naturally, and also it is naturally curly. So her hair isn't going to get PERFECTLY straight. You guys probably have "Caucasian" hair. Rude comments don't matter if you don't have the same hair type.

  • i dont think your hair was completely dry when u blow dried it and your flat iron wasnt hot enough thats why you could still see the texture pattern in your hair... you should let a proffesional do your hair atleast once so you can see a difference and possibly learn a better technique

  • @kween4life Laughing at you. And guess what most blk girls know white girls dont want their hair.

  • @biblefarce *sighs*...LAME...*yawning*....are u done with that same line? becuz ur boring the hell outta me, don't even know why I wasted all this time goin' back & forth with ur corny ass, ur probably from Wyoming or some shit, cuz the white girls where I'm from would Laugh at you...

  • @kween4life lol..girl you are too much.

  • @biblefarce Wow, something we finally agree on! Thanks girl...smooches lol

  • I love your natural hair! It looks fun and soft.

  • Check out this new way to straighten hair without a flat iron: CurlyRemix com

smooth healthy hair with no damage!

  • No her hair is not Kinky or tuff to manage,..smh It's thick and who doesn't want that type of hair?!? , white girls would kill for her texture, ya'll need to get a clue and stop hating ur hair

  • @kween4life Which white girls....give me a break.

  • @lissaskiell child please, I've went to school, heard white girls I was cool with say they wish they had thick/kinky however u want to call it, hair like black women, cuz they can't be as versatile with their thin, stringy hair, so give urself a break, cuz u mad ha!

  • @kween4life LOL WHITE GIRLS DO NOT WANT KINKY HAIR. THAT IS WHY I SAID WHICH ONES. KEEP FOOLING YOURSELF

  • @lissaskiell girl bye, learn about urself and ur worth if ur a "woman of color", but I think ur really a whigger that wants more than kinky hair, fuck outta here lol

  • @kween4life LOL..NICE TO SEE A WOMAN WHO CANNOT BACK ANYTHING UP..LOL

  • @lissaskiell thanks 4 addressing me as a woman,, now bye girl LOLOL

  • @kween4life Whites have no desire for nappy hair. Dont know where that one came from

  • @lissaskiell listen corny broad with those same lame rebuttals, convince urself, why is ur white troll ass on this vid anyway? talkin' bout whites have no desire blah blah blah, ya'll sure desire that nappy hair on some black dick though! LMAO

  • @kween4life Never said I was black....But i would never want em...too violent

  • @lissaskiell never want what..girl wtf are u talkin' bout? lol too violent, what do you call Colombine? please, violent, when one of ya'll get fired from work, you wanna come back and put lead in everybody, you'll never win with me sweetie..

  • @lissaskiell

Some whites have stringy hair...but what's with all the drama? This page is aboiut black hair care! So, do you need re-directing? Just asking!

  • @meandmyself364 she was the one saying whites want black hair...bs.

  • @lissaskiell

As sure as blacks have different skin tones; well, of course different hair texturres too! Yeah! maybe YOU don't want kinky hair. but are you looking at this video for a term paper or something? Just askng! But you must not forget the afros and the African braids; caucasians were wearing in the 70's & 80's; some whites still wear afros! lol! kinky ones too!

  • @lissaskiell Yeah. Right. All that teasing with white girls. All that hair spay. Do you think it is for no reason? Lack of versatility. I would shoot my self if I had hair that was good for a couple of styles only. It may be safer to say that everyone likes to switch into everyone elses hair texture, but the difference is that black girls can actually get there. They have freedom in that way. Straight hair is straight hair, Curly is curly and wavy is wavy. Kinky hair is all of that.

  • @lissaskiell And for the record, I think its a shame that a person has to die and come back as another person just to change their hair texture and all a black woman has to do is either wet her hair or apply heat. Its too easy. Its ordinary for someone to try and mask what they really want when they know it is not humanly possible to get it. Big lips were considered horrific until they discovered collagen implants. Now its hot. Gimme a break. So you keep fooling yourself.

  • @aggiesspeakdatruth speak it girl! :), that's what I tried to tell this dummy, nobody wants to be black,...so they claim, but yet, they're getting lip injections to get fuller lips, wearing weaves for volume aka thick aka kinky lol, and want our complexion, so they tan, this chick lissaskiell is a damn fool

  • @kween4life Is that why you blacks lighten your skin, straghten your hair and get blond weaves?

  • @biblefarce you and ur pale faced friend are the ones on a vid about a black woman straightening her hair, getting mad about a comment I made concerning how beautiful her hair is, lol don't act like ya'll don't use flat irons, weaves, tans, lip injections. black dick, love our music, etc. I can get just as petty, don't even go there, I see tanning salons all over the place, but never see skin lightening salons

  • @kween4life And you cannot even give an intelligent answer. And sorry I don't do the blk male thing. Too many other options. My how personal you take it. You are in a vid straighening your hair.

  • @biblefarce saying "you blacks" isn't quite intelligent, and obviously you took what I said so personal, if you or this other stalkin' chick are one of the white girls who are proud of your stringy, limp texture of hair, then as the saying goes, "if it don't apply, let it fly" and PERSONALLY, I could care less what type of man you want, mines would pimp you lol and since you decided to jump on my comment, I gave my opinion and lastly idiot, that's not me in the vid...

  • @biblefarce and judging from your channel, you have a problem with Mexicans.. you're one of those closet racist/haters that get your shit off behind a computer but in the "real world" you're quick to say "I'm not racist, I have Mexican friends!", please hang yourself LMBO

  • @kween4life And that is the anser you have regarding a hair channel....poor you. If you look at the video on y channel is about gangs...lol

  • @biblefarce yeah right, u had a video about Mexicans and trash before ur so called "gang awareness" lol why are you even on a black hair channel..admiration, curiosity?? answer that..you lost..lol

  • if the flat iron smokes up, does it mean u are damaging your hair? Im really new to the whole flat iron thing :)

  • @mizbel101 YES!

  • if the flat iron smokes up, does it mean u are damaging your hair? Im really new to the whole flat iron thing :)

  • Im sorry i thought my hair was tough to manage

  • Diva you need to try Soc it 2 mii curls and herbal hair souffle from red's kitchen sink! I have hair just like you! I saw their videos and tried it. I'm hooked... My hair is sooooo shiny and full of body!

  • girl youd be better off with a hot comb! your hairrr is reallyyyy kinky

  • oh snap i need a blow dryer and mymom been hesitating to get one she plans to go to walmart tomorrow yes i got her

  • at 4:22-4:28... I know EXACTLY how you feel!! Some people don't understand how hard and overwhelming this could be for girls!! Keep it up! Pain is beauty! :)

  • cool blowdryer :)

  • "Take a break if you need to, whatever." lol love it

  • You need no oil if you are straightening your hair.. It looks like you blow dried it. I'm natural and I only use non oil products and my hair is weightless and bouncy and silly

  • Mayeb you should take your time to flat iron your hair.. i did it to mine and it turned out AMAZING! it looks like you rushed.

  • FLAT IRON?

  • Geez, Im sure glad I dont have your hair! My hair is just frizzy, a bit hard to manage, But after seing your video, my hair is definately way easier to manage!

  • Pulling on your ends like that will just snap them off

  • if u havent , u should round brush your hair instead of the blow dryer comb . it come out straighter because it didnt look good after u blow dryed it and if u cut it like tht then oooooo noooooooooo

  • where can i get that blow dryer!!?

  • @SirrahEiram its only 16.99 at walmart :D

  • cool hairdryer ^^

  • @drummerxkun LOL I said the same thing!

  • You seem to have applied a lot of heat to not get the results that you should have gotten. You should really try the chase method, your ends would have looked much better. You should be more careful with you hair especially being natural.

  • I have that blow dryer

  • i just had a complete laugh attak watching this video !! :) ahhaahaa

    i love you

    and your hair :) <3

  • you damaged your hair big time

  • it looks like you use too much product , i know i'm going to get cussed out for this but maybe not , your hair is not straighten well with that flat ironed , it still looks blown out

  • no heat damage?????????

  • hum...not the best way...but at least u try lol

  • this just isn't right flat irons cause damage no matter what it's just as simple as that and the results didnt look so cute sorry i'm not trying to be rude i'm just voicing my opinion.

  • Flat irons are damaging ...doesn't matter about ur heat protectant you use. You lose fullness in twists when you go back. I'm not risking that heat on mine. But to each her own.

  • Here is what I want you and NEED you to do. Buys theses products below.

Infused flat iron; Has oils in the flat iron so everytime you straighten your hair, its protected: Target $50

Ion brush; Gives more shine: Walmart $5

Argan Oil Blow Dryer; Gives a blast of shine everytime: Sallys Beauty Supply I think $60 or less

  • please do some research on hair care because u are torturing ur hair ... it looks unhealthy ...

  • is it hard having hair like this???

  • @KimberleySteffe98 not really, you just have to take care of it, just like any other hair type. What ever she's doing is totally wrong and her hair looks damage, but that's my opinion.

  • omg i LUV ur blow dryer !!! i want it ssssssssssssoooooooooooooo badly. um i knoe u said u got it from walmart bhut wat is the brand of that blow dryer? and wat was that blow dryer called? and wat is the pricE? sowyam i asking to may questions?

  • your hair needs careful...

  • God. I had chills seeing it through the straightener so slowly!

  • every time you use a flat iron o yur hair, yu r damaging it. just to inform you

  • LOVE THE INFO IN THIS VIDEO. SASSY SWAG SILK WRAPS ARE THE KEWL WAY TO KEEP YOUR HAIR STRAIGHT WITHOUT HEAT. WATCH MY DEMO. GOD BLESS.....SOPHELIA

  • wow how does that flat iron not burn you

  • I think you have a lot of patience! The result is very good ^w^

  • Just saying. U need a diff flat iron. Not kidding. That one does not work compared to my chia

  • Is to not blow dry for more than10 sec. I will try that. Don't like the blow dryer or oil. You should try heat protectant. Apply after you wash your hair.

  • What I learned from this v il

  • I think that you have the potential to learn how to properly care for your hair because you show a genuine interest, but you are damaging your hair. You need to cut your split ends and stop using the hot iron. Also, you need to moisterize it. I'm not trying to insult you in any way.

  • Where did you get the hair dryer at, it looks cool , I never seen one like this before... great job

  • @MegaLovlee walmart

  • @Hairmania3000 what is it called?

  • i want that blow dryer please tell me where to get one !!

  • @misstynax3 Walmart

  • @Hairmania3000 but what brand is yours?

  • @misstynax3

its the vidal sassoon 1875! i have the same one, its awesome!

  • Sad that you can't embrace your natural beauty instead of burning the crap out of your hair with this bullsh*t...

  • @punk0rebel I agree, I dnt even own a flat iron since i've been natural

  • if you carry on doing that your hair will get damaged and it is already starting to.

  • after you flat ironed it, that's what it should have looked like after the blow dry. Maybe you should wash your hair right before you straighten it and I don't think you should have added anything to it, it's already oily looking. Go through with the flat iton again or turn the heat up.

  • ur teeth r gorgeous! great vid(:

  • pause at 0:18 it looks so cool!!!

  • This was just not a good video for straightening natural hair, and the ends look really bad

  • It looks to me as if your blow dryer didnt work that well?

  • Okay, I will try that next time. Thank you! I really appreciate it.

  • @Hairmania3000

Hey did you ever live in Omaha, Neb? You remind me of someone.

  • Can I suggest that you use a regular blow dryer and a round brush instead. The round brush smoothes your hair while it's drying it. It gives way better results....

  • where did you get your design essentials from

  • @sage336 I got it at a dudley's hair salon.

  • @Hairmania3000 how long does it actually last??

  • @TheRealiestChick This only lasted me 3 days, because it wasnt a hard press.

  • do you suggest to airdry your hair/blowdry then to put in heat protecten, blowdry and then straighten?

  • @Lizzie2219 Yes, thats what I suggest if you have 4b or 4c texture

  • @Hairmania3000 wats an 4b n 4c texture

  • you need to blow it out a little harder, on high, it will not give you heat damage, only a smoother finish, i am a professional stylist and i wear a natural also. also, you need a heat protectant, not just some oil drops to protect you from the heat that you are about to apply from the flat iron. the drops are so that your hair wont become dry anmd brittle and break, not a protectant, but other wise you started good but u can get better, it does take practice. keep it up

  • What type of blow dryer is that?

  • i love the thickness and texture of your hair. What type hair do you have, 4b?

  • @blkimble I have mostly 4b, some 4c in the top middle, and a strip of 4a at the nape. LOL! Crazy that I couldn't just give a nice simple answer.

  • @Hairmania3000 I didn't mean to vote down. : )

  • Are you doing this on dirty or clean (freshly washed) hair?

  • @harrah5 Its clean.

  • Decent job, but I think you could have gotten it a little straighter. That doesn't look like it will last long.

  • what is the name of your flatiron?

  • @ulovmochacoco Its the Ion Straight - bought from Sally's

  • u look beutiful i will flat iron my hair i have bushy hair

  • were did u get that flatiorn thanks

  • @appleb26 sally's

  • what type of blow dryer is that?

  • @appleb26 Its a conair that i bought at walmart

  • ugh terrible results >.< it looks like my hair when i use to do it wrong

  • This is a Conair blowdryer bought from Walmart

  • hey, do u mind me asking what type of blow dryer that was and where u got it?

  • @ChaoticBiliss2714 she said she got it from walmart idk wats its callled;)!!!!

  • If heat is damaging, you have applied heat 3 times! Two blowdrys and a flat iron treatment is too much. Braid your hair and sit under a bonnet dryer to stretch it out and then blow dry. Also use care with the products that you choose because putting them on the hair and then flat ironing cooks the product onto your hair. Thanks.

  • A little rough on the ends, baby you are ripping at the hair with the comb and the flat iron, you will never retain length doing that with black hair.....

  • heyy, next time just put you hair in twist and then use the flat iron, it takes away the use of the blow dryer!

  • No disrespect bu I don't see the difference. I feel like you could have avoided additional heat by flat ironing it, be casue it's looks the same as when it was only blow dried. You have nice hair BTW

  • Wouldn't it be easier to brush it before you blow dry it

  • no offence but u got sum crazy natural hair

  • Okay Somebody Help Me Understand! I Thought Anytime You Apply Heat To Your Hair You Are Causing "Heat Damage"...

  • maldita loca

  • im not trying to sound like an expert or anything as im olny 15 but i have a hugggeee intrest in hair ( black hair ) as i watched you tutorial i felt like you was along the right lines BUT you could have got a better result. Btw do you trim your ends every time you do this ?? Because the way you straighten your hair really looks bad like your pully at the hair which causes weakness and damage to the hair. You should focus on the roots and be gentle downwards and use a low heat it works for me :)

  • @smnbaybee i agree :)

  • @smnbaybee you took the words right out of my mouth!!!

  • Can you add the protectant 1st then blowdry through it and then flat iron it?

  • @jun3gemini Yep.

  • im sorry but that doesnt look good, u have chased the flat iron with a comb, ur ends would have looked better than that.

  • Hi hairmania3000, i have a quick question. Why don't you use the oil by designs while your hair is still wet before you blow dry? Wouldn't that bond the oil to your hair as well?

  • @kimmiedan12 Hi Kimmiedan12~ I try not to use oil when using heat because if it gets too hot, it fries the hair and then there's irreversible heat damage.... Silicones are better because they coat the hair like oil but do not burn and hold heat like oil.

  • @kimmiedan12 sorry for the wrong choice of words oil/ silcone i was refering to the oil by designs you used in this video. I was only asking because some silicones have not only heat protection but also a straightening agent as well.

  • I.... don't think I would've risked damaging my hair with the flatiron for that look....

  • is your flat iron ceramic?

  • i love ur technique im gonna try it this week do you know of any other heat protectants that are good to use

  • hahaahhahahhahahha pause at 4:26 lol funny

  • @Utada379 you shoulda thought of that b4 you left that stupid ass comment not everyone has the same texture of hair and remember she said NO HEAT DAMAGE, thats why yo ass probably got multi split you dumb bitch

  • @Lucky21chocolate21 i understand your anger, but it's more effective if you try to get your point across with calling people out of their names :~/
