I think this is the first day Gabrielle realizes how she feels about Bo. I mean, she's been confronted about it before, mostly by Asa. But she's never had any "competition" before, and I think that's what it took to get her to realize how she was feeling. You can see it in her face every time Alex even mentions Bo.
