The new star wars remakes with "modern" graphics, for example, only served to brodcast the terrible sets and props in crystal clear HD. It kinda ruins the nostalga, the experience, the illusion that things were better then.

Well... Im only getting Zelda ocarina of Time for the 3DS purely for it's amazing grace and amazing sound track. Don't get me wrong the gameplay will be awesome, but just imagine being able to play the game whilst your out and about, and your riding through the fields with epona with the graceful music... :D

No, this won't happen. COD will be forgotten very quickly. Who talks about Modern Warfare 2 now? No one, cuz there's Black Ops. Because COD is all about graphics. Gameplay is always the same and it just isn't a memorable experience. Game industry became quick business. make a new game which storyline is 4 hours long and make another one. No more epic games like back in those days. Because back then you recognized the passion game developers had.

Buddy, nowadays, all these new games are not made for the purpose to be thoroughly enjoyed and remembered. For example, like revanskywalker has mentioned; do you see anyone discussing thoroughly about Modern Warfare 2, World at War, or Modern Warfare these days? I don't think so. If you compare COD and OOT together, OOT wins the prize for longer game and a deeper storyline. COD has other options like Multiplayer and Zombie. I would like COD if it had an Ocarina and a Song Of Storms

I don't want to argue either, but just make a point. Call Of Duty is a great FPS series, but I wasn't over the moon when Black Ops arrived like I was for Modern Warfare 2.
