  • great song, also just wondering where can i get the image thats in the backround i really like it

  • addicted to this song

  • this is so reminiscent of indigo by tom milsom :)

  • @MaRkIpArK Tom admitted to borrowing the tune for indigo on his VYou. He says its not stealing!

  • @Sunnasala13 i know...

  • This is proof that there is more than corn fields in Minnesota. YAY!

  • <3<3

  • ever since my mom borrowed a cd from a friend ive been in love with the band...

  • If they could come to Tokyo then I wouldn't feel like I'm here for no reason.

  • @cuki03 I concur, as it is in fact possible that gay people can make awesome music like this.

  • 10 people didnt take there medicine ;D

  • @Carmine2825 Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • @Praunstar rofl

  • I DO listen to cloud cult all day.

  • I could listen to Cloud Cult all day

  • Flawless composition.

  • Hi I'm from Asia and this band rocks!

  • Music is my medicine! ;))

  • nice. u come to the Netherlands anytime soon ?

  • I just saw them yesterday for a free show! and it was awesome, they just casually walked in the front door and we got to meet them!!! They are so nice, GO MINNESOTA

  • The amazing thing is that their studio tracks suck compared to how amazing their live performances are. These guys are amazing.

  • Indigo by Tom milsom? Just sound like that to me. Though this was probably made before that.

  • @LoisDestinee On Tom's vyou account, he says that it is the same! xD

  • @LoisDestinee he accidentally stole it :L

  • perfect medicine ...ehm sorry song

  • 10 people couldn't take the medicine. >_<

  • First song i ever listened too of cloud cult, now they're one of my top favorite bands.

  • how have I not known of this band's existance until yesterday? They're straight massive, how have I let my life be so incomplete these past few years?

  • i wish these guys would come to the east coast!!

  • @Tessamphicyon They'll be on East Coast tour end of May

  • great song!! If you like this check out the song "In every mirror" by danish act Inouwee.

  • duluthhh

  • I agree! One of the best newer bands! I love them live!

  • they sound similar to early modest mouse just less aggressive and more organized sounding

  • They are better live and I mean it. It just sounds amazing and so real compared to others who perform live. I saw them last week!

  • When my ex used to come visit me at work we would sing this song as loud as we could, i don't think the scrapbookers and general crafters liked it but we didn't care

  • Cloud Cult gets me through life. LOVEloveLOVE

  • My brother showed me this band, I love it. :3

  • This song is about beating depression sans medication, for those who don't know. Craig Minowa, the lead vocalist and lyricist said it himself, it's about doing some serious introspection and beating your inner demons in your darkest time. Cloud Cult does some seriously amazing introspective songs.

  • I listen to this song whenever life feels too much to handle, whenever the world seems a dark and senseless place. This song is gives me strength. It is medicine for my soul.

  • Cloud Cult is always so creative and outside-of-the-box. And they always touch your heart. Every time.

  • just saw them a couple nights ago !!! this was one of their last songs :) :)

    love love love

  • This song does not fit into any genre I listen to, but I pulls tears to my eyes everytime I hear it.

  • just found out about a lil bit ago 2!

  • todays a good day, a good day to face the hard things

  • @funun2 = )

  • What album is this? I've seen this for Kid Cudi

  • hidden in my belly.

  • @stitchedplate41 The MAN doing lead vocals is Craig Minowa.

  • @stitchedplate41 loooool

  • Saw them live last night for the second time. This song is amazing live, and the band really is amazing in concert

  • I love the end of this song.Such a perfect end and song all together

  • Go Arlen!

  • Badass song.

  • cool cloud cult .

  • this is nothing like what im used to listening to and i listen to everything , it's a weirdly amazingly beautiful song

  • Truly amazing song. I made up the entire plot to an animated movie listening to this song

  • He-he, you have that talent too? Sign of an artist. I love it.

  • @pinkfloydpatrick I do character designs on the spur of the moment when inspired, while just the name can take me days if I'm not feeling good. It's not that hard if you're creative. :3

  • @lolhammy

stop blowing ur trumpet. i understand inspiration, but you cant seriouslt write a good story/ draw a good picture/ write a good song in under 5 minutes, or even devolp the jist of it

  • Well, rough outlines should definitely be possible. For example, take a good book, or series. Err... A series of unfortunate events, by Lemony Snicket. The plot is quite simple, if you cut out the writing style, character complications, etc.. You'll end up with about this:

Three siblings lose home and parents, evil madman is after the money the parents left and does anything to get it.

I don't know, but even you could think that up in less than five minutes, likely with more detail than that.

  • @pinkfloydpatrick the song may be 4:43 but you have absolutely no idea how long it took any band to make the song. i could write a 1 minute song that takes me a week. or a 20 minute song that takes me one hour.

  • @DukeLacrosse13 the song is 4:42

  • @catseatingclouds you missed my point entirely

  • @DukeLacrosse13 i was being stupid. i know what you meant. =P

  • i want to dance to this song..

  • This song causes energy to radiate through me :))))

  • i love this song!!!!!!!!!! one of my best friends can play it almost perfect without sheet music for piano!!!! luv you haley :D!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing. seriously. best song ever.

  • My favorite song by my favorite band....

This song has inspired many photos and tons of artwork =)

  • Cloud Cult has their own style, though vocals could use some tweaking, the melody and sound is truly exceptional, and interesting point of view for lyrics.

  • I like the way the vocals work with the overall music, but i can see where you'd have that opiniom. cloud cult is truly one of the best bands ever

  • One of their flagship songs. Very heartfelt and inspiring lyrics. I love the instruments as well as some subtle vocal harmonies near the ending punch.

  • I saw these guys 2 years at a UFO convention in Duluth, MN. Really cool band.

  • HA! I was there too. :-) (Just for them, not the convention.) The venue sucked, but they still rocked it.

  • I recently just found out about this band and they are becoming one of my favorite bands ever!

On a side note....loving this song!

  • me too, cloud cult rocks!!!

  • just discovered these guys last night...think they're great....learned about the sad news of his kid too :( i read he went peascfully but still an awfull shame

  • awsome song

  • Wow i see that the esurance commercial got them some fans. :)

  • Kaidin was two when he died. Cloud Cult was formed in '95. Craig's kid died in 2002.

  • this is good

  • actually Vactom his son was 8 when he died hence the album the meaning of 8

  • No, he was two, look it up.

  • you are dumb. He was two.

  • his name was kaiden and he was two....who the fuck is vactom??

  • oh. my bad. i see who vactom is. i made a mistakeeeee.

  • he's name was Kaidin...

  • Great song and band but whats with all the " i broke up with my girl friend then i fell threw some ice" story??

  • The whole "i broke up with my girl friend then i fell threw some ice" story, is because Cloud Cult was formed after Craig - the songwriter's son died. He wrote over a hundred songs showing his pain. His son was only two :(

  • I heard that they never found out why the son died. He just went to sleep one night and didn't wale up.

  • The bass is bad ass!!

  • this

  • i agree

  • might be my favorite song.

  • this is my favorite song by this band

  • I...LOVE....THESE....GUYS!!! and gals. Anyway i got a story too.... it started when i broke up with my chick (i didnt really want to but i heard all these rumors and she wouldnt talk to me about it) then i fell through ice and almost died. and now my like is screwed and even though im 13 i wanna kill myself. i know some of you will think "emo bastard" or "that baby" but i got a screwed up life and people can relate. anyway i found these guys right after and i luv em. Oh check out start new by em

  • Dude, you need to take advantage of the fact that you're bummed out. Ie, pick up a guitar, start learning, and write music. I used to be a sad bastard like you and I wrote some decent songs. Now that I'm in control of my emotions, there's not a creative bone in me. Just saying, maybe there's a bright side.

  • wow these guys have a really awsome and unique sound, im startin to like them too

  • i'm starting to really like this band

  • cloud cult grows on you man

  • yeah, agreed :D

  • gotta love this song! when life gives you lemons, suck on em! itll give u candy if u do!

  • shit man, this song makes sense. freekin, the lyrics are so that I can relate directly to them. Man, my mother is so insane, she tried to make me take pills and shit, and years back, I always said I'll be better next time, over and over again, and stuff. Dude, they are brilliant!

  • Qow...I love there songs. I actually broke up with my girl friend and i was acting really dumb and i was going to do...well get high and i never did before. So i was at my friends and before we did we walked across a river that was ice and i fell in. I only thought of my girl at the time. That changed me so much, but when i told her she laughed and called me stupid. But now i feel happy to be alive and i recently heard of cloud cult so now i am a huge fan. There songs make me forget that stuff.

  • lol...cool story

  • Same here. I used to be really dumb, but I changed and songs like cloud cults help me out. For some reason, breaking benjamin helps me too

  • I love this song SO MUCH!!!

  • its a good day to face the hard things

    :)i love this song

  • SUCK UP SUCK UP and take your medicine! awesome song

  • awesome band

  • Dude, that's freekin amazing. It's.... perfect. And that's coming from a metal head.

    Death metal head.

  • lol

  • Haha, I listen to just every kind of music, I do prefer metal to most but that's because it gets me up and going, makes me want to do something epic ;)

  • It's all about the music!

  • I agree
