Now brostep makes no fuckin sense to me! And also, the name "gorestep" came before Borgore. But you're right, it doesn't matter what the hell it's called. Cyberoptix is the shit and always was. Borgore had some nice ass drops a couple years ago, but he aint made anything good since then.

Wait, I answered my own question (somewhat). I looked it up on the Urban dictionary. Apparently, "brostep" is like dubstep, except the bass is at a higher frequency and Oscillation is more unpredictable. I don't know how the hell this song (or any cyberoptix song) would ever be brostep. All of it is EXTREMELY rhythmic (even the oscillation) and is all in a consistent pattern. That's why cyberoptix is my favorite producer. Also, the drop is at most times, low frequency.

lol the term Brostep was started as a joke. It's simply what they call the northern american influence on dubstep being more about high end frequencies and as people say "audio carnage" and less about the deep, low end/sub basses that originated in the UK.

In fact the "wobble" switches up so much that it's nearly indistinguishable from the random "pew pew laser beam" and glitchy, arcade, "doctor p"-ish samples that flood and overpower the song.

Also the wobble doesn't even dip down lower than the treble range, so it's basically a mid-range brosteppy wobble that leaves my subwoofer bored.

This sounds like all of the other shit that's being produced nowadays. It sounds like no-bass, antimelodic garbage with a fake treble wobble.
