@MrZayNev For 3D camera tracking you'll need to use other software such as PFhoe, Boujou or SynthEyes. If you're doing 2D tracking you can do it directly inside HitFilm Ultimate.

@KtapirM13 Voodoo is free, though it is also rather tricky to use and hasn't been updated for a while. PFhoe isn't free but it is very cheap compared to other camera trackers.

@andrewfama490 1) carefully fall down the stairs 2)done. Seriously, I am not really sure if this is an easy effect to do (which means it isn't) and there are lots of solutions. Be more specific and someone might help you. Here are some tips: 1) creating a ragdoll in blender and then doing all that compositing. VERY HARD TO DO. 2) Slowly and carefully, protected by several swearshirts and body gear roll down the stairs. Then fast forward it. SORTA UNSAFE. But I would do it this way.

@JDahlHD The actual camera tracking is performed using 3rd party software like PFhoe, Boujou, SynthEyes or Voodoo. So the quality of the track will depend on the capabilities of those programs, rather than the capability of HitFilm. Better video quality will usually mean better/easier results, as is always the case.

Sorry if this question has been asked a thousand times, but what is the difference between this and the Fxhome products like Vision lab studio, and Composite lab etc? - Is it just a combination of all them in one?

@FreeWareFrolics HitFilm has been designed and built from the ground up and doesn't share a single line of code with VisionLab or CompositeLab. It is a completely new product that operates on a very different level to our previous software. Most of the videos we've put out on our channel would not be possible to do in VisionLab.

If somebody wants to be legit and does not afford to buy AfterEffects... how in the world would he ever afford to buy anything from PixelFarm... PFTracker costs more than the whole Production Premium from Adobe. And if your not going to buy PFtracker, but will download it for "free" then why wouldnt you download AE for "free" instead of having this cheaper postproduction software.

@georgiahoosier That is correct, as with AE and other compositors, you'll used a 3rd party app like PFHoe to create the camera tracking data.

The 2D point tracking we're working on will function inside the software, however.
