<3 I love you

  • You can usually trust Welsh lads to sing. Exhibit A: see above.

  • WOW This song is the Song I was listing to with my friend.

  • Funny how so many of these losers about my age now (mid 20s) try to do this whole glam/pop/rock thing and just FAIL SO HARD. But yet there's something I like about the original sound, even though it's cheesy.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork

For Filipinos, it was not. How much is a gasoline, rice, exchange rates during that time here in the Philippines? Man, it's way down low. 90's made it worst when we changed our President. :(

  • I want in on that time machine, perpetual61!!!!

I so miss when the bro's were together.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork ..... You should hear kkepponriding's "mates" band they think they're "death metal" think "deaf metal" is more apt ...... You have to be deaf to think it's good !!!

  • @MySpeedqueen lofl good one

  • Looking forward to their next L.A. gig. Jay's still got it.

  • oooops once would have done, but just to prove my point

  • @MySpeedqueen lofl who are these arm chair losers bashing glj? Glj are legends in alt rock going all the way back to the early 80s.

  • @kkeeponriding,,,, funny you hate them so much you checked them out on You Tube..... same to Hopesuphighband , know who I'm laughing at and it ain't GLJ

  • @kkeeponriding,,,, funny you hate them so much you checked them out on You Tube..... same to Hopesuphighband , know who I'm laughing at and it ain't GLJ

  • I was there for the 80s, didn't spend the decade drunk or high, and I actually remember a lot of great music. But I have no memory of these people at all.

  • @professor2442 then you weren't around, loser.

  • AHAH TERRIBLE BAND....WE booed them off the stage at PEABODYS in CLEVELAND on april fools!!! worst band ive ever heard play live

  • @KKeepOnRiding Yea I was there.. They were huge Douches!

  • These guys are huge douches. They still think theyre big time.. They randomly showed up at my friends bands first headlining show. And asked if they could headline. Then asked if they could use their equipment. Cause they apparent flew all the way from California to do a show but with no equipment.. all they did was treat everybody like shit walked around like they were the shit. Left after the set.. Atleast my friends can say Gene loves Jezebel opened up for them!

  • @HopesUpHighBand - They pulled the same gear crap in VA (DC burbs). Claimed they "just flew in from England" when, in fact, they played Pittsburgh the night before. They were scheduled headliners, but the local opener may have had the larger draw. The last 45 minutes of the set deteriorated into Aston mostly wandering around stage or sitting on the drum riser & talking to the "crowd", which I counted 22 @ the bitter end.

  • LADY....

  • Now I remember why I could never bring myself to buy any of this bands music back in the 80s. The look retarded and their late stuff, like this song was horrid.

  • Now I remember why I could never bring myself to buy any of this bands music back in the 80s...

  • Ku Ku !!

  • I love it :)

  • Me encanta

  • @admiraldoom6 Says you. You must one envious little person. Sheesh!!!!!

  • @admiraldoom6 What a bizarre thing to say.

  • from 1987

  • souvenirs!!!!!

  • I have seen them many times in concert before the breakup...dont care about micheal ... jay was the talent .. and oh my god jay is hot hot hot

  • good retro

  • God I hated the vanity they forced into rock. With David Bowie in the 70s it was experimental and controversial but it became a standard in music video by the mid 80s and was too clean. This band is a great band that came a decade too late. I love this song but hate watching this pretty boy image shit. They even did this in Ozzy Osborne videos and Van Halen videos.

As.

  • wala na ba ung ibang gkanta nila thanks for the video

  • Jay is so gorgeous! <3

  • 80's very romantic time

  • big hair -- one of the stamp of the 80s! haha

  • Saw Gene Loves Jezebel in 1999 performing at the Twin Palms restaurant/lounge in Newport Beach CA USA when the group only had one of the brothers. Not as good as when the both together were in the band in the early days.

  • astig,mawee

  • High pitched screams, ooh's and ahhh-ha-ha's. Love those.'.

  • We grew old fast. As a kid I always though.. 15 years and then you develope and have about 60-70 years before you're "Old" but the diets and stress of the world today took only about 20-25 years to look and feel old. At least for 70 percent of Americans. Point is.. we're aging faster because of the poisons the demons put in our foods. they're conditioning our world. I should have had another 10-20 years before I saw wrinkles. No wonder the 80s seemed like yesteryear.

  • Anyone remember this in 90210?

  • @lcacwelder Um, Honey, I think that's a little too late..

  • @ivorytower99 Than how about "Go?" This is a guy who never really watch the show, but seemed to find a few relics.

  • @lcacwelder Funny you should use that expression: During Michael's LoveLiesBleeding tour, before he did cow he spit out "another relic"....

  • inlove again thanks newavers

  • 80s rules again! :)

  • damn

  • so glam, but so good. One of my guilty pleasures.

  • @lcacwelder lol at how glam is the opposite of good for you hahaha.

  • King aston

  • 1:57 best part XD

  • So come on angel let's share it..

  • WTF the guy in pink is paid for?

  • omg, i wonder if i would have laughed as hard at this "act" in the 80s as much as i just did -- "la-OVE-ha-ha!" and haha, and haha -- what a bunch of no-talent-fluff -- 2:00 holy crap that's funny -- i love how the androgyny boys keep fighting for face time on the video too; "hey, don't step in front of me when i'm pouting" :P

  • @lukafafrenz

I think you the fool thats pouting!

  • @saffra2323 "la-OVE-ha-ha!" and haha, and haha -- no "american/british idol" in the 80s -- too bad

  • @lukafafrenz

luka - you keep coming back for more - its cute. are you hiding something perhaps.

the one that the most frustrated has the most to say...in all the comments.

    its love... I know.

  • @saffra2323 yeah, it's "la-OVE-ha-ha", and the fact that you keep messaging me -- btw, did the blonde guy with the princess di haircut play "buffalo bill" in "the silence of the lambs"?

  • The singer for The Darkness seems to have copied this guys stage presence.

  • Shit I am quite the 80's expert, it is tough to runa song by me that I can't name the title and artist. I heard this one on XM the other day and was like WTF, this thing fucking rocks!

  • @rjackman1981 couldn't name this and still are you calling yourself an 80's expert? I don't think so...

  • @nikito370 yup actually I still do thanks for asking. Now listen up dickwad and listen real good. Just because someone doesn't know a few songs from the 80's does not mean they are lacking in that knowledge area. So why don't you quit trolling old comments on youtube in your mamas basement and go get a life, and take your poor attempt at being witty and shove it up your ass. K THX BYE

  • @rjackman1981 I actually replied from work. I actually loled at the "now listen real good" part.

  • i♡it♡i reminiscent song*^o^* GLJ takes me back to good old 80's*^o^*Thanxoxoxo so much for posting & sharing this high quality wonderful music video*^o^*i♡it♡i

  • I saw the brothers (Fushia Flamer) in concert a few months back and got into the story of thier group and came to appreciate the music with know who the hell they were, He (Michael) opened for Berlin. I say he is awsome and not gay (my gaydar says not gay) anyhow he actually became one of my favorite singers, I regret not apprectiating his art when I stood around at the beer garden wondering who the freak prancing around like Jim Morrison was. He was/is a struggling artist

  • Who is Fuschia, and why is he prancing around with no instrument? Is he just there for extra sex appeal?

  • @somercet1 he is the brother of the lead singer, Michael Aston. Read them on WikiPedia it is weird thier story

  • 80's music and culture will be forever remembered...

  • the 80s blew

  • I still got the vinyl record. :D \m/

  • i love it!!!!!!

  • que buen tema! aguante los 80ª!!!!!

  • Aaaah sweeeet sounds!!!

  • Gay glam rock band.....

  • long HERR!!!

  • For the nth time, they are not gay. Their image deceives the eyes.

  • The 80's RULE!!! Still....!

  • Lets face it that guy dancing around in that Flaminco Pink jacket had a plenty of interested ladies or fags regardless of his true orientation. He made a buck & gave a thrill without a biase. Who knows right?

  • @underworldisis Never could get into that 80's hair band thing.

  • I just absolute adore Jay. He's not like my type & I wonder about his sexuality but as a friend I am crazy attracted to his style. Looking back the drummer was less avante guard but clean cut & I think he's a cutie really. I likely belong elsewhere but I ADORE this bunch & if we can have BBQ's or something I look forward to seeing them again! winks

  • Why did I love the video for Josephina so much? Other than personal reasons. Because it showed the seasons of life & was such a clean cut family orientated video. It showed beauty of femine grace from child, to woman, to grandmother. It was very nature oriented & had such crisp purity. It had the mystery & romance of wonder about Napolen's Josephine. Yet the beautiful, yes she was beautiful grandmother. She looked immortally capabily of being Joseph's mother in an untold biblical angelic story.

  • I'd laugh "*IF" he was the only gay one....typo I don't know his sexual preference & its none of my business! At the time I was listening to their stuff frequently in the late 80's, I had no memory I had met them when I was a child. I do remember now that Josephina is very dear to me. That video can almost bring me to tears somedays.

  • I mean songs like this weren't their best but still enjoyable. They could take pop & love songs & new wave & blend it with a cool cutting edge. I mean its funny the stage antics trying to be all cute & sexual, the blonde in the zebra pants looks like a flaming fag. The drummer looks suprisingly straight I'd laugh he was the only gay one. Blurring the gender barrier is something some Angels do very well & often it has nothing to do with being gay. Gotta ask Raphael? Memory issues w/ that Arc.

  • Yeah I am sure their sexual preference came under question now & then. I guess though the androgeny & fashion sense made every innovative girl want to go shopping & clubbing with Jay. Sometimes I think it was guy's just trying to get into touch with the feminine side to figure out what made women tick. I'd guess not knowing them personally most would expect that Jay couldn't be anyless gay than to b bisexual. I think most would have liked them anyway.

  • @Elmalatina-I was in SF about that time & sorry I missed that show. Ironically about that time you could find me walking around Market street & the Haight/Ashbury district with headphones on wearing out one of their albums. Jay was a flamboyant front man he really made the band, with his lil screams no one else can mimic. It was a bit like a new invention of the Victorian era of England & French royalty...the make up & act just minus a powdered wig.

  • omg they were one of my many favorite bands of that time.it's funny though because whenever i mention them ,people are like"who are they"and i always they were a band that i grew up listening to

  • 80's songs are the best!

  • We saw them in 1988 at The Gift Center in San Francisco (Flesh for Lulu opened the show) and a group of us just started dancing together when this song was played and Jay kept pointing at us. Such good times!

  • esti si q es muy buena musica

  • one of the best songs of the 80's

  • another great song.

  • I doubt if you can still find talents like these today. The 80's really ROCKED!!!!
