There was a prequel to Tales of Symphonia. Even multiples. The story of Martel, Mithos, Yuan and Kratos is in Tales of World : Nakiri Dungeon 2, if I remember right.

this opening is just too...perfect. this music is perfect. it's so soft and soothing at 0:24. it makes me feel a bit sad and nostalgic,and gives me the feeling that i'm watching something that has long been forgotten, but i know i will remember forever. words can't desrcibe how special this is to me. if i close my eyes and just listen, i feel like i can just drift away, and everything will be okay in the end...

i especially love the scenes at 0:41 and 1:07. just epic beyond words...

Zelos will live. The entire betrayal has played out well for that to happen. The thing that makes Zelos fight the group and get himself killed in the game is his own hopelessness when the people he cares about show him no trust. Lloyd tells Zelos he still trusts him and it shakes Zelos to the core in the episode. There's no way he'll abandon the group now. Don't worry. Next episode he'll be right back with the Aonis sword in-hand. ;)

@SuperLepere: Its already released and the first episode is available on youtube, but good luck finding all the parts since uploaders tend to forget to remove the opening in the first part which gets it blocked.

As for the second and final episode I don't know when its going to be released.

@SuperLepere: It took forever for the last two OVA series to be subbed so your probably going to be waiting a couple months. I don't know or understand Japanese either, but I still watched the episode.

Sadly there are only two. The last two OVAs only had three episodes a piece.

@gemilynne Not really, because Zelos's mother has long hair. Anna was shown (well as a light figure) in the animation a few times, and at those times you could tell that Anna's hair is short. Plus, she appears before the DaddyKratos and BabyLloyd scene so it also gives another hint its Anna.
