NO. To rent, yes, if you really want to play it. Theres very repetetive gameplay. Theres maybe 5 combos you can use, thats it. The levels are ridiculously long. I had to take breaks in between.

wow i imagined a game with great shooting style with fps controls where the cameras behindthe character so you see him more close up. And when you want you can put your guns away (there should be at least 5) and go hand 2 hand more like Tekken combat with hellboy rather than Shrek!

-and shimmering graphics where hellboys cloke shimmers in candle-lightwhile on a church level raoidly shooting at this monster with a sik ass pitol. Nope-this was a waste of a good idea! :( my quick rating- 4/10-crap!

I'm sorry but this game looks terrible. I'm a HUGE fan of the Hellboy comics (paticularlly Mignola's artwork) and I think they ruined it with flashy fire animations and things. Totally uncharacteristic of the Hellboy comics and even the movie.

His right hand IS HIS HAND, its not supposed to be that much longer than his left arm. In the movie it is because its a prostetic extension on Permans arm and cant be avoided.

It's called the right hand of doom and it is meant tobe the key to an apocalypse, it belonged to an old evil demon who created the dragon (ohgdru jahad) that was almost set free in the first hellboy movie (but originally in the comics).

The reason why jahoodrama said that he looked too thin was because he doesn't have the big overcoat as in the film and the game developers wanted to make him more maneuverable for all the fancy "Hand of Doom attacks" where he jumps around a lot like in GOd of war
