dont feed it lol had 2 in a 70 gal tank , didnt take long before the couldn't turn around , when i let them go in a private lake in irvine cal they were as long and tale (belly to dorsal fin) as a 5 gallon bucket , the only fish i ever seen lay down and go to sleep

Yes you can, however the rule of thumb is 55 G for each Oscar.

Actually the rule of thumb is 1 or 6. If you have 2-5 oscars they tend to bicker, and pick off the weakest ones. 6+ oscars give them a balanced schooling habit, but you don't get as much individual personality.
