It's impossible to tell who is the best of all time. As tinySHINY1 says its all from different eras. For example Senna could drive 1200 hp cars to the ragged edge but could he do the same in today's cars which require a huge huge degree of fitness compared to the 80's/90's cars. Vise Versa for Vettel etc.
As far as I know no one has ever gone on to win the driver's world championship in a season without finishing lower than 4th. Congratulations Seb you thoroughly deserved to win the title this year. Now onto next year!
The best thing for Vettel: there's no serious competition with his weak teammate. With other words: Red Bull has a clear number two driver (just like Ferrari had during their best days with Schumacher and Barrichello, or just like they have actually with Massa) so, as long as Red Bull/Adrian Newey is able to create the fastest cars, he can't lose :)
@federicoxx96 the blown diffuser was legal for the first half of this season its just that Jean Todt banned it from the British GP onwards. I'm sure the officials would have already picked up on cheating and given Red Bull some sort of penalty by now which they haven't because Red Bull obviously haven't been cheating or using anything illegal!

OK,Vettel its not the new Schumacher,no one is the new anybody,every one has theyr own driving style,Schumacher,Senna,Prost..,,,,, are legends. Vettel is a great driver.at this time he is not at a Legend,but i have no doubt in like more 5.6.7 years he probably considered one.

Everybody here saying that Seb is the new king of F1... I remember when Alonso won the championship in 2006 people also said that... lets wait to see what he can do with a normal car and not a rocket that is the Red Bull...

@supertincho18 torro rosso ring a bell??......vettel won races this year he wasnt supposed to win...a prime example is monza....in suzuka he wasnt even supposed to be on the podium....the ferraris and mcclarens were way faster almost all weekend

It's impossible to tell who is the best of all time. As tinySHINY1 says its all from different eras. For example Senna could drive 1200 hp cars to the ragged edge but could he do the same in today's cars which require a huge huge degree of fitness compared to the 80's/90's cars. Vise Versa for Vettel etc.

As far as I know no one has ever gone on to win the driver's world championship in a season without finishing lower than 4th. Congratulations Seb you thoroughly deserved to win the title this year. Now onto next year!

The best thing for Vettel: there's no serious competition with his weak teammate. With other words: Red Bull has a clear number two driver (just like Ferrari had during their best days with Schumacher and Barrichello, or just like they have actually with Massa) so, as long as Red Bull/Adrian Newey is able to create the fastest cars, he can't lose :)

@federicoxx96 the blown diffuser was legal for the first half of this season its just that Jean Todt banned it from the British GP onwards. I'm sure the officials would have already picked up on cheating and given Red Bull some sort of penalty by now which they haven't because Red Bull obviously haven't been cheating or using anything illegal!

I wasn't a Vettel fan. I appreciated his skills but I wasn't a fan. However, his Monza performance throughout the week and the way he was driving lately has completely changed that. He may have the best car, but that car needs someone to drive it. Very worthy champion of years to come.
