  • I want to trip balls to this. XD

  • All these bandmembers are so sick. Matt is an insane drummer. Greg has some insane riffs. Chad has the most unique voice. And Ryan is one of the best bassist in the world imo. To top that, the music they write is brilliant. Mudvayne is so underrated.

  • one of the best bassplayers ever...ryan martinie...mother of god!!

  • @creusone Same with the drummer

  • @ScottyBoy843 same with all i'd say!! xD

  • this song sends chills down my spine

  • GET OFF THE CROSS and save yourself! Runaway! Ill be OKAY!!!!

  • 4:00 - 4:46 the way he sings it just makes me feel like i'm somewhere else i love how their music can bring you into their minds of the time they wrote these songs Mudvayne for Life greatest band ever.

  • Now guys don't laugh @ me when I say this....I'm 6'3" 265 pounds built to apocalyptic portions, natural zombified shredded bodybuilder, with this music I took a fuckin 2 hour, finished in 50 min.... This music is melodic/beautiful, painful, ugly, good and evil battle it out all in one....lol.....I'm sore as HELL...this music made me fell like a fuckin' executioner and the one who was being beheaded, at the same time

  • Matt and Greg are seriously underrated IMO. They rock the odd times with seriously skill. Greg has heavy riffs but amazing melodic pieces weaved into the songs. And Matt, well, brilliant! Good use of polymetrics and odd phrasings and no ridiculous and pointless double bass blasting for the whole song. He uses drum patterns that actually require some imagination and flair. Go Mudvayne! :D And obv Ryan and Chad are amazing too :P

  • FUCK YES I FINALLY GOT IT FULLY ON BASS

  • what was there tuning for the old stuff?

  • @woodsjunkie66 i don't know if you mean guitar or bass, but i know the bass tuning is usually either BF#BE OR CGCFB... i think that's right anyway.

  • @Scmittydude you are correct, the LIVE tunings are in drop c, but on LD50, i believe its in drop b, i know for sure that the end of all things to come is in drop C on the recorded versions.

  • @woodsjunkie66 Drop B for the first album, drop C for everything after. Ryan adds an extra low note on his bass, so when they played in drop B he had a low F# and now he has a G.

  • i'm going so crazy right now

  • best mudvayne song barnone

  • yeh i dont know if u guys saw this dvd but when he's warmin up his scream back stage...........fuckin beastly

  • @wackagucciflame by the way, listen when ryan is doing his bass solo towards the end. you can hear the auto-tune trying to pitch correct his voice.

  • @TheCameron311 soo what listen to him warm up live in peoria this same dvd

  • why doesnt ryan quit and start some awesome progressive metal band

  • @theiconoclasm probly because no one can keep up with him

  • You realize I mostly ignore you people.

  • ryan looks fuckin sick at 0 :17

  • mudvayne is the shit no other mother fucking band will ever be this badass live

  • @fromoldschoola im sorry but didnt slipknot just lose one?

    thats a forfeit

    MuDvAyNe! FTW!

  • @notfalling334

    T-Pain doesn't use Auto-Tune.

  • @FangTheWolf12 bullshit. Every mainstream fake rapper uses it

  • @Korndude4561

T-Pain uses some type of echo box. Auto-Tune corrects the singing notes that are wrong

  • @notfalling334

    real classy

  • how does this only have 100k views? what the fuck

  • 5:23!!!!!!! is life changing holy shit chad

  • @floridaboy0121

    sickest scream ever :D

  • Comment removed

  • MuDvAyNe > every band thats ever tried to make a song since the beginning of time.

  • darkest album or not, still some deep music

  • Love Mudvayne but, someone needs to shut that ladybug up.

  • @FangTheWolf12 i disagree dude.. have you listened to korns music at all?

  • LOOK!!! SKrY209.tk

  • its not dark its just really the screams and the tones dont mean much its the lyrics you wanna hear a dark band listen to six feet under

  • straight up badass! nuff said

  • 4:23 HA! Exact timing before the drums

  • @insidethenine99

I just Saying Ryan Martinie Rules. :'D

  • I swear from 5:24 to the end it sent fucking chills down my spine! Wow the emotion these guys have in their music is insane. The amount of creativity and pure energy is amazing!

  • 10/10 song only song better is 40 below summer-letter to God...TEXTBOOK FUCKING MENTAL

  • L.D. 50 is one of the greatest albums i've ever heard. it was really unique and chilling and had ALOT of feeling in it. it's the only mudvayne album i like

  • ryan martinie is by far one of the greatest bassline creators in all of rock and metal. his stuff is so complex, but it fits flawlessly and gives Mudvayne's music that edge.

  • That first scream was wicked and awesome!!!!^^<3

  • Wish they would have played " Everything And Nothing". If they did, can someone please tell me or send me a link?

  • in my opinion chad's screams are more brutal than corey taylor's but corey has the better singing voice

  • My Favourite from L.D. 50, we need this MuDvAyNe Back!

  • After seing this video (for the 231864th time), I'm actually gonna spend my life building a time-machine for going back in time so I can see this concert live. OH MY FCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the only thing you can sit for yourself in your room, completely headbanging your head off.

  • 5:23... HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT.

  • I love the live version so much better than the album version. I don't know why I do, I think it just has a better sound to it.

  • Slipknot fucking suck.

  • 5:21 to 5:27 .... you never see a singer screams like him from the heart

what a fucking song ....i love it ...such a meaning

  • This is why Chad is one of the best singers. He can control his voice extremely well. I dont think anyone can scream the way he did at 0:11, thats just phenomenal singing by Mudvayne

  • @KARMAandEFF3CT i agree, I don't think anyone in the world can scream like Chad Gray did at 0:12, thats just crazy

  • 5:23 best scream,amazing.

  • i love this cd, i say most of it is about pills and drugs but still worthy of my vote.

  • @TIMMAYMOFO Recheck your lyrics, take a look at what its really saying, you have to go beyond the surface.

  • the bass line is fucking sic!!! love shreding the guitar with this song!

  • Mudvayne's LD.50 album is the darkest album from the early 2000's. I don't care what those Slipknot fanboy faggots say, THIS is the darkest album you could possibly listen to from that era of metal music. One thing I hate is the auto-tuning on Kud's vocals during the first few verses.

  • @FangTheWolf12 that isnt an auto tuner on his voice hes using a distortion pedal when he does his growls. jon davis from korn used to do the same thing back before they got signed

  • @DaKLoNeNiNjA

I meant during the singing parts.

  • @FangTheWolf12 Gotta disagree with you bro. This is dark, but Slipknot S/T is the darkest shit I have ever heard. No disrespect to Mudvayne, I fucking love them to death.

  • @FangTheWolf12 I'd have to disagree on the album of choice. The End of All Things To Come strikes me as a darker opus. But that's my opinion. I just envision a darker place with TEoATtC than L.D. 50.

  • @FangTheWolf12 It's not "auto-tuning".

  • @FangTheWolf12 i got it, but lets just say the is the darkest album in NUmetal for that era, there are some heaviest and darkest shit in other metal genres

  • @FangTheWolf12 i dont know about THE darkest, but it was definitely the most unique sounding. more than the first slipknot album. mudvayne has something unique

  • @FangTheWolf12 Ive hearc the whole LD.50 Album and its not half as dark as Slipknots S/T or IOWA. That not saying its bad its great in its own world but also take notice that is it was not for Slipknots #6 Shawn Mudvayne wouldnt exist since he practically found them and produced the album.

  • @gunlover19112 I'm sure that you've heard the whole album. Listen again and - correct me if I'm wrong - you'll find that L.D. 50 is on a completely different level to Iowa, both intelectually and musically. Notice that I didn't use the word "better". It doesn't get much darker than L.D. 50. Iowa is angry emotion, L.D. 50 is tormented and supressed emotion. Remember that we're talking about anything from 2000 and onwards, and that Mudvayne is the brains of their own music, not Slipknot Shawn.

  • @sp1k8 Yes its a diferent level (not as in above or over IOWA) but they are totaly diferent albums with totaly diferent feel. I think L.D 50. Is more methodical but with less feeling into it. It brings sadness but they made it kinda unsufferable. IOWA has alot of diferent tonality almost death metal like (not death metal vocals but instrumentaly). The thing is if mudvayne would have experimented inside this idea they had they would be better but they kinda let it get to their heads and fucked up

  • @gunlover19112 Interesting point there... I agree that Slipknot expressed there emotion in a much heavier and angrier form, but sometimes I don't want to be given someone else's anger. L.D. 50 makes me act and reflect, Slipknot can make me crazy. I think that if Mudvayne experimented with trying to make everything too loud and heavy, they simply wouldn't be Mudvayne, especially when considering Ryan - it would totally override his skill and technicality. But yes heavy is good!

  • @sp1k8 Oh man Ryan is what made me like the band! he is my aspiration as a bass player myself. Yea Slipknot is more energetic (on stage and songs) while with mudvayne its again more methodical.

  • @gunlover19112 Ah cool man - peace

  • @FangTheWolf12

i agree, it is defenetly one of the darkest albums of its time, but only cuz clown of slipknot worked with mudvayne in L.D. 50

  • @FangTheWolf12 what do you mean this vocals were auto tuned?

  • @FangTheWolf12 i'm sorry but its really wasnt at all the darkest album , doesn't mean its not one of the best but probley one of the most frustrated and emotional but far from the darkest album.

  • @FangTheWolf12 Holy shit, I really hope you're not serious.

  • @FangTheWolf12 you think thats dark? your pathetic lol

  • @FangTheWolf12 True... its alot heavier.. But theres no need too bash slipknot. They were also good from 1999-2002

But these are two different bands with different vibes(:

  • @FangTheWolf12 I agree that LD.50 is both darker and better than slipknot, but slpiknot is not bad either...

and this is NOT auto-tuning...it's distortion, it has a completely different effect than auto-tune

  • @FangTheWolf12 its not auto tuning its distortion does he sound like t pain? no.

  • @FangTheWolf12 what the hell? there's NO auto-tuning on chad ANYWHERE. he can actually sing.

  • @itsybitsyzombie DUDE if you have any knowledge of recording or live music recordings... yes his vocals on the verses are auto tuned. 90% of recordings artists use auto tune, you can just minimize the amount so it doesnt sound like that shit you hear in rap. and yes, his autotuned can be triggered just like the distortion on his voice, as well as the delay you hear.

  • 5:23 that scream is incredible

  • @pirraglio2 HELLYEAH!!!...1:47 is my fav cuz it has that rap thingy thats fucking killer!!!!

  • I Love the amount of emotion in this song's lyrics, the music, and in Chad's performance! Fucking epic!!!

  • its a shame. Mudvayne has changed tremendously. But still cant get tired of their old stuff!

  • he knows what pain is

  • this song is the definition of me

  • I've posted on other vids nobody has replied maybe here someone will, BEST SONG EVER ANYONE CARE TO ARGUE!

  • @cokenew I DO! This is the BEST FUCKING SONG EVER TO BE MADE. EVER. EVEN IN THE FUTUR.

  • @cokenew Personally...I think Fade to Black by Metallica is....But, Mudvayne hold the no.2 song for me.

  • @cokenew Can't argue with that ;)

  • @cokenew nah man you got good taste in music lol

  • @cokenew

  • I can relate to this song perfectly, I love Mudvayne.

  • i love mudvaynes first album the most. Severed, Prod, -1, Death Blooms, and Dig are my faves

  • This song is so full, epic, and progresses so naturally, it's almost hard to believe it's not even 6 minutes long. Bands with songs like this tend to take 8+ minutes to get this much across.

  • is he crying?

  • Oh man. Its like a trip to the past. Still awesome too.

  • This is my all time favorite mudvayne song, for many reasons, but I have to say that I'm not too crazy bout their newer stuff. I would like to hear more songs that had incredible depth like this one.

  • this is an amazingly well written song and never got the attention or respect it deserves, this is what should be on mtv and fuse and radio stations, not lady gaga and all that bullshit, whos with me!

  • i used to not be much of a fan of LD50. My God has it grown on me!

  • hells ya

  • This is my favorite concert of them... EVER! their performance of pharmaecopia during this concert is INSANE!

  • why is every song from LD. 50 played live a half step higher? It's more of a strain on his voice.

  • @whoohaaXL because all of their other songs are in drop c on records.

  • @MudTide1993 there in drop B not c its a semitone lower.

  • @befrankis they're in drop b here. LD50 is played in drop b, the rest of their albums arent

  • @MudTide1993 right i fucked up dw

  • fuckin bassists doin' it fuckin' big, guitarist's doin' a whole lot, sweatin', and shit, gooood.

  • Great metal they show talent. This band is a masterpiece! bassist is always pounding on the bass... pound it motherfukr!!! mudvayne= awesome

  • @mrock4L LOL.........."pound it motherfucker"........amen brotha....that's alright....pound that fuckin' shit......

  • mudvayne member's = masterpiece.. well put together band. lyrics are hard complex. fukn bassist!! He's talent blows my mind every song is impressive

  • BADASSS!!!... Deep meaningful lyrics chad shows and performs. gotta love those SICK ass beats, melodies on the bass!! epic!

  • @notfalling98124 Lol. ;-) I understood though.

  • what tha fuck was in that case??????been wonderin that for years now.

  • I'm always amazed by Chad's live vocal power. My vocal chords could never take that kind of punishment

  • ain sau phor

  • This wasn't one of their best performances. :-|

  • @notfalling98124 You mean friends.

  • chads voice sucks... really as someone who loves and can sing the song... he misses alot of the notes.

  • @hypnotize221 yes, call out the man who wrote the song for singing it how he wants to live. And I'm sure you could go out and sing it everyday for a couple months straight without rest well too right? shut up. this is a fantastic performance

  • @MudTide1993 its not fantastic. its terrible. you will go to hell for chellenging me on this.

  • @hypnotize221 right. can't wait. really, i'd love to see you do better in a crowded stadium in front of thousands of people after already touring for weeks, performing every night in full face paint. but, right, you're mister fantastic singer.

  • @hypnotize221 fuxk u dnt listen 2 them if u dnt like stupid dumb ass

  • If i could go back in time instead of stopping hitler or saving the people of hiroshima and nagasaki id go to this fuckin show when they were in their prime

  • Mudvayne FTW!!!

  • get high

  • mudvayne and slipknot has de best

  • wow mudvayne when they knew their real fucking fans from central illinois..madison treatre...good times..fucking sellout motherfuckers

  • Thats FUCKING EMOTION in that face of Chad's! This was by far one of the best shows they played! No one could compare to the shear emotion in the lyrics and the love they had!

  • 5:23 put our mood on fucking high

  • 5:23 put our mood on real high

  • One of their best shows... My cousin went their and recorded it, but his wasn't very good... Lots of people getting in the way, plus the cam had low battery, so bad quality.

  • I loved THIS mudvayne, before the commercial albums, LD50 is a very underrated CD. all my friends thot i gave them too muh credit but F them haha

  • @bugaveli all their albums are kick ass

  • @happybuddyperson

I like some of the songs on their other cds but ld50 is the only one i can listen to straight thru. Its a raw ass CD

  • slipknot and mudvaye are good bands and should not be compared because they are the best !!! lml yeah!

  • cool :D

  • Magnificent

  • crippiner accidently voted ur comment down sorry i was trying to vote up

  • hes like 30 right here

  • i lovee chad ... yeaah! mudvayne (Y)!!

  • ryan martinie is the best bassist ever (the mudvayne bassist)

  • @gntrihg Agreed, badass hes my favourite besides KoRn and Tool Bassists.

  • @metabolic0513 Steve Harris is great too (Iron Maiden bassist)

  • @metabolic0513 korns bassist sucks. he has no musical ability. he just bangs on the bottom string every song.

  • Such an AMAZING bassist. I can safely say he is the best there is.

  • This band has inspired me in so many ways, i'm a quick learner and I prefer music thats unpredictable at times-a little off beat-and it has to sound cool all at once! as a black person hip hop/rap is cool only for about 10 min, but its the same thing/beat and hardly talk about anything. all in all MuDvAyNe is one of the best bands I ever heard!!!!

  • 5:22 chad's best scream for me

  • omg ive got epilepsi

  • then dont ever watch a live show at night lol

  • mudvayne kills slipknot so bad

  • @crippineryday haha so fucking true dude.

  • @crippineryday dude lets not start thisd debate i love slipknot and i love Mudvayne who cares about whose better they both rock

  • @crippineryday bro you cant say mudvayne kills slipknot man, im a maggot but i will say mudvayne is the best band i have ever seen live, but its two completely different sounds man, just confined within the same genre, but i would say both are equally talented, i do think mudvayne is better lyrically, but they can be more personal with the music because its not a colab between 9 people, much more intimate and personal with mudvayne

  • Mudvayne 1.

@crippineryday thats so true they kill slipknot so bad and korn

  • I WAS THERE RYAN MARTINIE IS MY 2nd COUSIN... i was bck stage.....this is off there DVD

  • Thats because this show was on there DVD

  • When put into context, one of Chad's most emotionally raw songs. Its obvious why this is the only video I can find of this song played live on Youtube in all of Mudvayne's history.

  • aruguably their best song, definetly my favorite

  • they could play more this songgg

  • Proof right here that Chad Gray is the shit

  • @EternalDamnation101 he sux now tho.. such a far cry of the vocalist he used to be

  • @jrstu51

No he doesn't... He still has it...

  • @DiStUrBeDHuSk3r are you dumb?? open up your ears... listen to his live performances now. there is absolutely no comparison. he strains his voice to find his notes.

  • @jrstu51

I am not dumb - I went to a live concert on Feb 13th of last year at Sokol here in Omaha. He still has it - obviously not as good as the LD 50 or BOATTC but - it's still there.
