All you Obama loving fools, lets face it, if you tax the very wealthy by adding about 11%, they cannot afford to pay many of the less important workers, and therefore will have to lay them off to keep their incomes where they want them. This will send unemployment spiraling out of control and sink our economy further, If you cut taxes on the wealthy, you allow them to expand and hire more employees, seems like a simple decision to me.
Obama is one of the worst presidents possible, he thinks its fair to take money from successful, hard wrking individuals, and spread it in the public traugh, for lazy, dishonest slugs, who refuse to work. Lets face it, if u were in a class, would you want the teacher to take 20% of your grade and spread it among those below a C? Eventually, everyone wants to reap the benefits and the whole system fails.
These tax plans don't include the embeded taxes in consumer goods that everyone will have to pay either way. And the VAT only contributes to the embeded tax which is passed on to the consumer. It also puts a drag on employment.
Wow my youtube got banned so im using my brothers. Obamas plan to help others middle class is great(Universal Health Care, Higher Minimum Wage, More School Funding and cheaper colledge) But soon it will be huge Goverment so it will need more taxes. He cant do most of what he wants because of Big Goverment Prices. So he will have to tax the middle class.
Bus. owners making 1mil/year, you can EXPAND your bus. 1 new 45k employee every year. With Obama, you get to FIRE 2.5 people every year.
Remember who you work for and what happens if THEIR tax is raised get beyond "step 1" to see what happens if you tell a business owner that makes 3mil/year, "hey, you'll pay 701k/year MORE now".
They'll cut R&D, cut sales, outsource IT and Manufacturing. You want high unemployment nbrs, rape the rich and see.
I prefer VAT (value added tax). And the same tax for all incomes. That is fair. Really not fair for the wealthy to pay more taxes (i'm not wealthy). They already pay more taxes with their properties and such. Don't know how they can avoid more taxes or get tax breaks. So if you earn more than $250,000 then I don't blame you if you vote for McCain.
You'd think these wealthy people would consider giving back (a tiny fraction of their whopping income) to the country they love so much...to pay for things like better education, health care, new energy options- but NO it's all about ME ME ME and what THEY have to give up. It's truly a sad day for this country when it's elite class tries hoodwink the other 95% of the population into voting AGAINST their own interests. Well, NOT THIS YEAR, NOT EVER AGAIN!!. Thanks Steve for making this clear.
Jeff, you conveniently leave out that many working-class families don't have a choice to "move up" when they have to decide between going to law school or feeding their children. Steve is clearly making the point that Obama's tax plan aims to HELP OUT those who need the money most and people who make more than 250, 000 annually can AFFORD to pay more in taxes. The problem with America today is it's overwhelming greed- You shouldn't be rewarded for being rich...being rich IS THE REWARD.
So you have no ambition of making that much and would rather live the status quo. Also I don't know about you but I payed close to no taxes at all the past two years. Mc Cain's Plans looked far more balanced than Obama's Rob from the Rich and give to the poor. Where do you think the jobs would go. If you where making that much would you want to be a US Citizen? I think not. If they are no longer a US citizen do they pay US taxes? I think not.
I'd benefit greatly from a tax-perspective if McCain got elected. However, because I think McCain's stupid (McCain graduated 5th from the bottom of his class) and Palin is maybe dumber than Bush, I've contributed more than $3,000 to Obama's campaign and will be voting for Obama. I do it because I have friends and family members I care about who don't make as much as me -- those making under 112k a year are 83% of the population, after all.
Wow. How many people do you suppose vote republican with out being aware of this I wonder... so sad that many are brought in on the "family morals" take, and then screwed financially, and also never get to see the social change they're looking for in a conservative candidate...
Brilliant .
