Listen to this male liberal interviewer get ROLLED by Paul. SERIOUSLY, the answers are beautiful, unscripted and given without the aid of any "hacking" technology. #RP2012
There is absolutely no "sides" to man-made climate change. I am appalled at his rejection of scientific consensus on the causes of climate change.
Methane is a rapidly growing contributor to global warming (potentially MASSIVE feedback cycle) *because* of the warming that CO2 has caused.
Ginsburg already said the courts don't have the expertise to adjudicate on matters of pollution. Immediate enforcement of carbon emissions is this planet's only chance long-term. Courts can't provide that.
@justinsreality science is based on objective truth, not consensus and the answer to the non existent problem of climate change is not despotism through carbon taxes and UN control
This is a great interview if you like Ron Paul think of donating to his campaign, and getting to the primary for him. I have donated and I hope you will too. It makes me feel like I am helping expose the system for what it is. A phoney system of debt, that will self destruct.
@makesupurr Technically you are correct, but if you have a situation where the government distorts the market to make it impossible for the banks to lose money by guaranteeing the loans, the banks simply don't care if the loans are good or bad, they will just want to loan as much as possible to collect their interest.
I don't know. I think voters might appreciate that there is finally a candidate who actually has opinions that are sophisticated and require explanation, meaning he is a real thinker, not a figurehead bimbo. Furthermore, he treats the voters as authorities who deserve real explanations, not children who need to be spoken-down to. He might not have polish or charisma, but he exudes authenticity and sincerity. They might appreciate that.
All he needs is a couple lessons in Debate and Public speaking, his ideas are Phenominal! but when he is across from 5 candidates speaking only in buzzwords, he needs to do his thing in less words.
@IAmShodan1 >>> Agreed. His campaign staff continues to do a poor job in figuring out how to get him to communicate his message concisely & effectively with average voters which have all been trained to respond to buzz words & five word slogans.
The US military was attacked at Pearl Harbor precisely because the US had established a base there *through* imperialism. The US was simply an imperial competitor with Japan.
This reporter, like most people, simply never asked why the US Navy was in Hawaii in the first place; how the US gained that military base; what shenanigans the US played to get it; etc. Rather than beat one's chest about it, how 'bout asking some questions.
One assumption he makes is that government cannot do anything right.
I was glad to hear him talk about flaws in constitution regarding slavery, because sometimes I hear comments that everything in the constitution was exactly right, and everything else is just plain wrong.
One assumption he makes is that government cannot do anything right.
I was glad to here him talk about flaws in constitution regarding slavery, because sometimes I hear comments that everything in the constitution was exactly right, and everything else is just wrong.
@sergejpopov I think one of the few instances in life where a position of "bad faith" should be consistently assumed is precisely toward those who coerce your time, energy, and wealth from you (ultimately) at gun point : that is, the government.
The unseen male in this interview is entirely clueless about Austrian economics. You can tell he went through public school and believes all of the garbage he was fed in K-12 and zero ability to think independently. Sickening and stunning. Dr. Ron Paul is so clear and makes so much more sense.
This is pure Ron Paul. Give him 5-10 minutes of time to speak his mind, and he will, sooner or later, come back with something that will blow you away. Don't try to explain to the MSN why you like him. The only thing they understand is slick haircuts. Ignore them, and go with what you know.
Ron Paul, 2012!!! Down with all neocon Republicans! We need real conservative who believe in the ideals of the founders like Ron Paul, Rand Paul and Pat Buchanan. Ron Paul, 2012! He will actually change things and end America's stupid foreign policy of fighting Israel's wars. That's why the establishment hates him even though he is loved by the people. Ron Paul, 2012.
These journalists asked him 1.3 hours worth of questions, and every word he said was passed through a mental filter. He gave them thoughtful and well-founded answers to every question, and they allowed themselves to see him as nothing more than the doddering old fool they were told to see!
They were quite respectful, though, just arrogant and naive (terrible combination!)
I disagree, the interviewers were certainly somewhat combative in the beginning, but towards the end I felt that their tones had changed a bit because they understood his philosophy alot more-
I've seen hundreds of his interviews and I think this is the best one he's done by far. He was clear, concise, and right on point. He wasn't stammering but that was because this is the type of format I think he is best suited for. He was also hilarious! This interview covers nearly everything about why he is the best man for the job. I'm sure if people who aren't converted (yet) watch this video from start to finish they will be converted afterwards.
ROn Paul has some very powerful mental kung-fu. Most campaign handlers would NEVER allow their candidate partake in an interview that is this long, RP always jumps at the chance- great interview. Very intellegent man.
This interview is GREAT! The interviewers learned a lot...or maybe they were playing devils advocate lol. I hope they take out as many key points as they can and put them into a form for mass consumption. Let's be honest there are not many people who don't already support Dr Paul that will sit and listen to all of this.
Lets see Obama Or Perry or Romney talk at this length about policy and philosophy. Romney would be yelling at his opponent by now haha. Perry would call them a dirty yankee, and Obama would have a temper tantrum. Ron Paul is a philisophical BOSS And needs to be elected 2012!
@ashkaji lmfao at romney would be yelling at his opposent by now HAHAHHAAA but for real Ron Paul is the most intelligent wise congressman ive seen in these debates and no one can match his voting record
@gnat60 I couldnt have said it better myself or agree with you any more. If this man or someone with similar ethics and morality doesnt get in in 2012 we are toast. The current congress actually takes heed in the fact they raised the debt ceiling, like this is good policy? Its sickening. Gerald Celente, Lyndon Larouche, and other economic forecasters have been warning us for years. Its time to get this over with and end the fed and the wallstreet corporatacracy that is destroying this world.
When was the last time you were able to hear a candidate for high office engage in a truly in-depth discussion of the issues. Equally important, a discussion where the candidate had such a powerful, comprehensive and philosophically consistent grasp of the issues. Congressman Paul is an extremely intelligent, thoughtful and respectful man, who is more than qualified to lead this nation as President.
I like how the guy who was asking questions seemed to be against rons philosophy because it cause ron to be able to truly debate, and when you debate is where the light gets shined on the strengths of his philosophy.
Libertarian ideas can't be explained in sound bites. This long format is wonderful for really being able to demonstrate the principles, even for people already won over but who still have questions.
Ron Paul is leading the second American revolution for liberty and has been for four decades. Thank goodness he has been so consistent.
I feel like this interview demonstrates the importance of a long form interview. At the beginning it seemed like the interviewers expected him to be the lunatic that the media portrays him to be.
They were sort of trying to debate him or prove him wrong at first but toward the end they began to listen as they realized he was making sense. It was almost like they began to see him the way supporters like me see him.
That was an awesome interview. I am with mustansir83, they have got to see a glimpse, there is no way anyone can listen to what he is saying, and not see logic.
I can't speak for all Americans, but I can speak for myself. I'm tired of compromise. I want someone to stand up for what's right and stick to their guns. Ron Paul 2012!
@mustansir83 unfortunately they were not. Their article based on the interview stated they disagree with him on a lot of things, and he won win, and even if he does, Paul cant get anything done as President. Completely clueless...
Well, democrats or not they were interested in his points of view and tried to understand them, I guess. They were polite and respected his position even if they didn't agreed. I think this kind of dialogue is very healthy in a conversation: asking, clarifying, etc.
The same can't be said about the mainstream media where they want to hide Ron Paul and everything related to him or his success.
Man I could listen to Ron talk and express wisdom all day long. I just finished the entire thing, had to have a few breaks while I was cooking but man that was one hell of an interview (minus a few at best really odd questions)!

public works- BS New Deal cured the depression propaganda
tax rates- there were more loopholes before, also during Clinton years welfare was cut.
