@soccerandvgs the ref doesn't have to blow the whistle, that's how quick free kicks work. The ref will blow for a free kick and then you can touch the ball to stop it moving and take it straight away. Also the guy not having the yards IS a foul, but for this barcalona are given the advantage for that foul.

Its not cheating, it is a perfectly good goal. The goalkeeper should ask the ref if it is "on the whistle" if the ref answers "yes" then messi should wait, but if the ref says "no" then the goalkeeper and other players have no reason to complain.

Its not a strange goal anyway, i have seen it dozens of times, and even played in games where it has happened.

I have seen something like this once myself with my club Utrecht. Only then the free kick was twice taken again because a defending club player was not 9 meters from the ball.
