Saw him do this in Dublin last night. Can't put into words how powerful his voice live, the room was stunned. He's a pitch-perfect singer with effortless control, a marvellous pianist and a starkly original lyricist. I really hopes he gets the success his talent deserves sooner rather than later.

@Owdbum289 He formed The Czars in the late 90 s and they made maybe 5 records, the 3 I know are all excellent and well worth looking into.....this solo stuff is equally good...and the brilliant Midlake are his support band which is why Mojo magazine picked it as best album of 2010.
