Even with something that's a better analogy, like the Electribe, you still need speakers or headphones. The portability of this looks very useful.

i think they should make an entry level controller that doesnt have as much little bells and whistles but is more affordable like make it a usb controller cut the screen out and knobs and make it a plugin so you can do all the same stuff but just not all of it directly on the controller.

OP-1 is a fantastic tool, but I think is a little bit "un-organised". It's a pity that such a good tool don't have an easy sequencer and you must play "live" to record. That makes the beat "un-synced" from the other layers.Anyway, is way too expensive! Who gonna pay $650 for OP1 instead of some VSTs? P.S. sorry for the $ sign, I'am not from america
