  • i have called sprint today and was calling about moving out of coverage area and when doing so it should let me out of contract with no penalties and now they want me to return the phone that i paid 169.99+tax with no refund and they will not charge me the $200 etf. how freaking smart is that?

After 45 days trying it (i left Sprint 5 yrs ago-giving them another chance), I want to share why Sprint doesn’t tell you everything: Data SHUTS OFF when on call, means no emails or Internet; HTC EVO is NOT business ready… can’t sync w Outlook; Unl. $69.99 plan is NOT unlimited; Voicemail in-network call forwarding doesn’t work; Sharing of Wi-Fi using EVO only allows 2, NOT 5, users.

  • If the customer service sucks is bcs the way the customer acts when they call sucks u need to calm down first and think is not the fault of the agent who is trying to help u maybe is fault of the billing system of someone else so u need to stop being a stupid asshole and let them help you first, and dont call thinking bcs u have a contract u are the king. Maybe if u act in a diferent way and let them help u u would not be wasting ur time uploading very bad quality videos on youtube.

Sprint customers aren't stupid but they did do one stupid thing. Can you guess what that is? You guessed it, they signed up with Sprint and now have to count on ignorant people like you for help if they need it (and they will) I think I used to work with you, always wondered why you refused to bathe.

  • Lol I don't read a script!! Sprint Is a great company!! We raised over 30 thousand dollars for families to eat thanksgiving at my call center. I've made 55,000 this year working in account services based on my skills of resolving issues and that money was from surveys of SATISFIED customers!! 200 cancalation fee anywhere is nothing to me! Maybe if u were as skilled and educated as us in account services then u could get a better job and afford a fee of 200

BABOOM!!! tell them your peace, with no need to be a fuckass, and you will get what you want. talk straight to the guy in charge and you'll find that the people behind the phone are not the ones to bitch at. use your brain. not your ass.

Probably you only need a prepaid cellphone, that´s my advice to you...

  • i 100% agree with this guy, sprint customer service is just disgusting! i have a htc hero,ok, sprint sent an update to the phone, and totally made the phone crap. 2 replacements and they just wanna keep sendin me more phones with that crap update. And i just love how everyone there seems to have this phone and has no problems wit it. i just got one replacement yesterday, 2 hours on the phone, wont activate, needs to be replaced again. they wont let even let me out and its not even activated!

  • Sprint told me they "cant guarantee service in my area but that wasn't a valid reason for me wanting to cancel." 7 calls later, cussing out everyone, I was cancelled with no termination fee!

  • I used to work for Sprint, I never hung up on a customer. I didn't have an escalation for my first year and a half on the "floor". I lost my job for that. I literally watched others hang up on customers to limit "handle time". They got away with it and kept their jobs. Sprint doesn't care if the customers are hung up on, only whether or not the customer gets surveyed. Sprint needs to provide positive data to shareholders. Any questions?

  • @MsCustomerCare I work for ACS, a company that Sprint outsources cust care to.....and I'm quitting for the same reasons. It's design ensures that cust care reps that have morals are the first to go, and the ones that don't stay, which means custs end up getting pissed....

  • @RBG02005 All the best to you. Any company would be lucky to have you. Never loose your morals, not even to keep a job. I'm not sure how they even stay in business. I suspect it's because so few have the money to go after them. At least we can take solice in the fact that there's a reason their stock is the lowest among the telecomms. I think it's just a matter of time and maybe one day the truth will come out in a court of law.

  • YIKES! I was a rep for several years and I'd NEVER talk to a customer like that! I will say on her behalf that she is trained to discuss your reasoning for canceling before transferring you to account services--but she was being argumentative and that's NOT ok.

Sprint is #1 for worst customer service, google it and educate yourself. If you hate your job cuz of customers like him, rethink the company you work for. Also, quite possibly, you don't know what you're doing well enough to be a CSR, everyone thinks its easy, well guess what, it is when you provide shitty service like Sprint.

  • BY THE WAY SIR, you sign a CONTRACT stating that if you CANCEL before the end of your Service Agreement, you will pay the Pro-rated Early Termination Fee... that's just how it goes, and if you think THAT'S bad? live in Canada.

  • @jsspears21271 I used to work with a company that was an outsourced customer service call center for Sprint. In the girl's defense, training in call centers is very poor.

I work in customer service as well, and am now a supervisor being the field for 7 years. jsspears21271 although perhaps a difficult customer, he should not have been hung up on or lied to (or mislead) in the 1st place to get him this angry, its Sprint's own fault for having horrible customer service. Google the top 10 worst and see who's #1. Do your research

  • I agree. I`ve also wked the phones in CS & I NEVER hung up on anyone even customers that were shouting & cursing. Instead, I tried to find out why they were upset & I tried to help them & if I couldn`t I would try to find someone who could. By the end of my calls, my customers were always calmed down. They get upset when they feel like they`re not being heard or respected. If they realize someone is trying to help & listen, they calm down. Customers should be treated w/respect..
