  • please say this isnt a kids movie. I mean im watching it right now, its only at the beginning buts its fucking creepy! Although i am baked.

  • Easily one of the best cinamatic moments in decades from two of the best actors of all time.

  • “Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.”

    -Dr. Seuss

  • i love this movie so much. i cry every time. and not just because i cry every time i see natalie portman cry.

  • if this made you cry like this post

  • I love this scene.

  • I'm fourteen years old, but i am proud to say that everytime I watch a movie like this, not only am I inspired to push through the hard times in life, but to smile at misfortune, find the bright side of everything, never to look down upon, but to help up. "Your life is an occasion, rise to it," is a very important quote in my life. It is true, you will never have another life, this occasion happens only once, make the most of what you have and make miracles happen. Let yourself love,

  • @CountryGirlColby And do not be afraid to let go of the loved, for your occasion has been made all the grander by them. And just remember one day when you've touched as many hearts and left as many miracles as you could behind you, that it took Shakespeare, a genious bard, to write 'He died' and hope you can say the same.

  • @CountryGirlColby Awesome words. I totally agree.

  • I love this movie, it's so magical...I cried watching this scene.

  • @princessthyemis ME TOO

  • @Lugiarulz233 how can you say that

  • This is the type of movie that reminds me there is magic in the world...if people stop to notice

  • Dustin Hoffman is amazing! He plays this part to the letter! This scene is probably my favorite scene of any movie! It is so true! Amazingly done! Makes me tear up every time!

  • uhm..i meant moving movie (ahaa..sounds weird..^^)..shame on me

  • the most touching moving i ever watched..it really is so...wow..not a children's movie at all. packed with all it's wisdom...but a wnderful one :)

  • this has to the most moving scene ever. most people who just watch the scene itself wont say so but just mr.m says its events preceeding it that mad this scene so sad.

  • This part, and the one earlier where he talks about his shoes make me cry every time. It's a great movie.

  • very sweet very awesome ....

  • Moving and powerful scene.

  • goodbye my love.

  • this kind of movie reminds people that it is okay to have an imagination and to dream for the impossible

  • The brilliance that is Dustin Hoffman!!

  • "It takes a genius like Shakespear to come up with, "he dies""... That's one of the best lines in the movie...

  • One of my favorite movies..and this scene is the most powerful scene. So strong and so true!

    Nice job Mr. Hoffman!

  • "Your life is an occasion, rise to it." :' ]

  • This is such a great movie. I must agree that people like mr magorium help us know that life is a gift and that we should spend every moment of it. This movie really touched me like no other movie ever has.

  • When we last see Mr. Magorium's face with a big grin it always makes me bawl :( but a happy bawl knowing that he died happily after living a great life. this movie got bad reviews but we need more movies like mr. magorium to remind us that life is short & we have to live every second of it :)

  • such a great movie.

  • You know what, I have a problem with that opinion. How can you say this tear jerker is boring? I love this movie, and I don't understand what the critics don't like about it, it is a very good story line, and it is very true, a good way to deal with death, and I plan on using the qoute in this description at my Grandfathers funeral.

  • He's supposed to be the most eccentric person in the world... He's supposed to be odd, seriously... And the toy store is not supposed to be some huge wonder. Your the type of person, from what I've read, who thinks that bigger is better. I think you saw the store as gray through the whole movie, because you didn't believe in it...

  • @lawrencelugar7777 it's just a movie.....don't you know a lot of oddballs like Dustin's character???? And, no, I disagree with you. Any bigger of a story and any more elaborate and it would have seemed absurd. How could you make it any more magical that it already was????

  • a good way to go

  • This movie was so sad

  • Too may people criticize this movie for being depressing because one of the characters knows when he is going to die. What they don't mention is how at peace he is with dying. How many of us hope we can be like this when our time comes?

  • My Grandpa is probably dieing soon... And we are probably going to use this quote when it comes time to speak... Probably get the whole lot hysterical in tears...

  • @dharmaseed This is not a depressing movie. If people think it's depressing, they have missed the point. This scene describes the meaning behind the movie. I want it played at my funeral some day.

  • @mrsheathledger03 Well said.:)

  • the most touching part of the movie

  • love this guy

  • Hey I love the script. The whole script is amazing!

  • Amazing scene. Brings tears to my eyes even now. When my uncle died I immediately thought of this.

  • I want something sweet.....can I eat the cobbler

  • This movie was funny I watch it in my class ppl were laughing because the toy monkey wanted a hug. :D

  • its a great death just like his life. Reminds me of the many time si saw fellow soldiers die in the battlefield, no fanfare, no parades, no celebrations, just death. Not for anger for pride or glory, for the respect and love of human life

  • I cried when I first watched this part. Now I just almost cry.

  • Comment removed

  • I love this film. I watched several times.

  • how does he die ?

  • Watch, and witness his passing. With no fanfare, no metaphor, just light and laughter. I would like to go that way as well.

  • Paper cut, right through the jugular

  • lmaooo

  • This is one of the saddest, but most inventive and meaningful deaths in movie history

  • This makes me cry everytime because my grandpa was just like him and it came out right after his death thank you so much for putting this up

  • Great lines said well.

  • my favorite part. this must be one of the most brilliant lines ever made.

  • This was the most powerful scene in the film. It is a great film, even for a family film. The only way it could have been more powerful is if Mr.Magorium had given Mahoney some comfort lines, such as, "You're sad because our friendship makes you happy."

  • Thank you for acknowledging this enchanting movie!! It's one of my darling films through all times... I love gentle tales!!

  • This made me want to cry. It's such a sad and amazing moment.

  • I loved this movie. It was so kiddish, but I loved it.

and this was my favorite part of it.

  • such a powerful movie. i love it, i ll never forget this movie,. ever.

  • That was the speach my dad wanted for his Wake. ;.;

  • For such a childish movie, this was a powerful scene.

  • Cause it's Dustin Hoffman!!!

  • We're so used to grown-ups making kids movies look childish to other grown-ups, we've forgotten how powerful our childhoods can be; how important those early moments are. A kid's movie never needs to be "childish," it can be a reminder of wonder, and of uncolored fun.

  • Everytime I get to this part of the movie, I find MYSELF overwhelmed with dysphoria. Wonderful movie.

  • a final sad scene i will never forget

  • If you don't cry when watching this, please - check your pulse.

  • The Single most beautiful death scene ive ever watched... Hoffman is a fantastic actor

  • i cry every time i see this :$:( x

  • I ball like a baby, am now just from watching it, oh I love and hate this movie, only hate it cause I cry EACH time lol

  • yes, thank you for uploading this! this is definitely my favorite part of the movie! :)

  • OMG saw this Last night on Star Movies...love this part thanks for uploading this : ) ....and Merry Christmas : )
