Apparently it is actually fake. I thought "meh whatever" till I checked out BBC Horizon's documentary on Freak Waves. That's where it's lifted from, it's computer generated. They also did another computer generated one like this. How they make it look this good is beyond me.

@MovingUpp What I'm saying is, there are pumps to get the water out of the ship, there are parts of the ship sealed off air tight to keep the ship from sinking, and there are weighted sections in the ship to keep it from flipping all the way over. And of course they have emergency, air tight doors that seal shut. The windows are meant to take quite a beating, though everything has it's limits.
