The last 1983 edition Top Of The Pops before Christmas 22nd DECEMBER 1983. TFF The Way You Are charts at no 29. There will be two Christmas Edition of TOTP Christmas Day 25th December 1983 with Christmas Special edition 1983 and 29th December 1983.
@spillandambience - From L to R (viewed from the front of the stage) - PPG Wave 2.3, Roland Jupiter 8 (played by Roland) and Sequential Circuits Prophet 5.
wow theres a big difference between the studio version and the live version. personally i like TEARS FOR FEARS live there rythm is much better. The studio version of their songs is not as catchy as their live version. But thats what i think!
I'm a big TFF fan and theres loads more to come so keep looking out - or subscribe, and you will get them posted to your email address as i put them up on youtube.
thanks a lot! I' ll sure subscribe. I get so addicted to TFF esp. to Curt. Last night i slept at 4 am watching all the videos i could get my hands on. Not to mention the articles i've read hehehe.
Yes ajitffcure,Its John Peel in the days when he was a Radio1 DJ. every week they used to have a Radio1 DJ presenting Top Of The Pops in the days when Radio1 was the most listened to Station.
No "Start of the Breakdown" was a bonus track on the b side of 12" version of the single of "The Way You Are"...Take Care mate good to hear from you again...
Thanks, lukkreug for that reply. John Peel was a gem of a person. The kind of bands he is to put on for his live radio shows were just amazing. I think a lot of bands/artists benefited through his shows.
Thanks Zelda I actually remember seeing this on Top Of The Pops when it first came out in U.K(Im from U.K) Still got the 12" vinyl has "Start of the breakdown live" on b side....look young here makes me wonder where times gone!!!!
Hi Lukkreug! Was that John Peel in the beginning and at the end of this video?
This is a great single often despised by the TFF boys themselves! I honestly prefer such songs to their Beatlesque singles.
Wow! So 'The Way You Are' is the B-side of 'Start of the Breakdown' ! It makes sense to me. 'Start of the Breakdown' is an amazing single. I am still wonder-struck as to how Curt plays those bass lines. Definitely a highlight of TFF in terms of artistic quality!
i have that vinyl to but it has been destroyed by water so it so all wavy looking. and i am from uk to just not at that time period ( i wasnt born then).
i just found this reply recently that is why my response is late by say.... 5 months.

Curt was dropping some pretty cool moves at 0:38. He really seems to have gotten this crowd going.
