@kej1m The Cold War is not over. China and Russia are trying to build up their forces, but we can still outperform them in terms of Naval warfare. True, Russia has ONE Aircraft Carrier but that's really just so that they can make Su-33s and Mig-29Ks and have a use for them- it doesn't really serve a power projection purpose.
The carrier is the most crucial tool of U.S. Power projection and we can continue to aggress the Chinese if we sail them into their waters.
